Jay.. a familiar name to Sunghoon. He thanked him once more and they settled down somewhere he can help untangle the chains around Sunghoon.
"what are you doing here actually?"
"well i guess i was just wandering around this place. Say.. are you a human Jay?"
"yes i am Sunghoon"
"how do you know my n─"
"my boyfriend mentioned you a couple of times, he even showed pictures with you in it"
He let out a small laugh thinking of him. Even if he's just gone out for a few hours, he misses his little lover. And he realized that he needed to go back to him.
"Ah, I need to go now. The path back to the city is right over there."
Sunghoon thanked the guy watching him running off to who knows where. Looking at himself, there were still bruises on his skin.
"this is the boy they were talking about.."
"heeseung─"
The said boy immediately turned his head around. Flinching as he heard that voice. Slowly backing away from him.
"I'm here to help"
Sunghoon gulped not knowing if he should trust the man or not.
"there's a place nearby where i can treat you, come on"

They both were in a tight and quiet atmosphere. Awkward silence enveloping those two. Heeseung brought some ice packs wrapped in a towel to somehow heal Sunghoon's bruises around his body.
"so heeseung.. how do you know i was there..?"
He hesitated a bit because of what the older really is. It felt illegal asking that question.
"Hunters, fvcking amateurs. They thought you were a supernatural too"
"ah.."
He felt Sunghoon tensed up and he knew.
"Sunghoon. You know what I am right?"
"i─ yes.."
"But Jaeyun wasn't the one who gave you this information hm?"
The younger slowly nodded. How did Heeseung even know..
"of course, that bloodsucker doesn't have the guts to tell him"
"Hoon, do you believe those rumors that I kill vampires?"
"...yes"
The older snickered. He was still the same gullible Sunghoon before.
"don't be worried, I won't hurt our friends"
Heeseung then finished the job and place the towel back where he got it from.
"I think you're good to go, for now. You can heal back at where you live. I can take you there if you want"
"yeah, I still don't remember the path back"
"This is where we part, take care sunghoon"
"Seung.. thank you"
The said boy gave him a smile then went the opposite way. Sunghoon then realized that the night came. He slowly opened the door to be greeted by a tight hug from Jake.
"Shit Sunghoon! I was worried about you. Where have you been? Where were these bruises from?"
He looked around Sunghoon's body to see if he was even more hurt. The younger was beyond shock seeing the boy like this. It was a rare sight to see a panicked Jake.
"Jake I'm fine, someone helped me"
He sighed in relief thinking that he was okay.
"why are you so worried about me.."
