I lean on the side of my car, when I see the captain driving through the gate. He looks pretty pissed, but I can see he is trying to contain himself.
"Do you know what's going on?"
Next to me the other guys of the squad are waiting for Shi-jin as well.
"I don't know. But if it's a mission, Panther has every right to be angry. The guy in charge told us we have the weekend off. Now the captain has to come back earlier from his little family reunion."
As the car heads in our direction, I see that Shi-jin isn't alone in his car.
"Who is that?"
Tiger shakes his head after Seahawk's question.
"Open your eyes, dummy. Don't you see the three silver starbursts on his beret?"
I stand up straight immediately.
"Okay guys, seems like this is important."
The car stops in front of us, while we all get into position.
"When the colonel visits us here himself, it definitely IS important."
Both men exit the car.
"Everybody! The colonel is here!"
All of us salute.
"Dan-gyeol!!"
The colonel looks at us, one by one.
"I see you already changed into your uniforms."
"Yes, sir!!"
"Take them off. There are suits in the trunk."
"Yes, sir!!"
While we change into the suits right in front of the colonel in the parking lot, he explains the situation.
"As you are all aware, the criminality rate in Korea has increased. Before that, people got death threats and were in danger. Now it got worse. Even many celebrities have been targeted, but luckily nobody got hurt yet.
You are here, because a famous girl group got several death threats. Usually the police would handle them, but this time it's different. These threats had details and information about the girls, their schedules and the company, which are hard to come by. We suspect that people came to Korea to start attacking celebrities. We don't know who it is, or who they are going to hit first. That's why the eagle squad will be set on this mission.
Your task is going to be to protect the idols and, if possible, to find out who is behind this. You will split up, since you have two groups to attend too. One of them is rather large which means, four of you will protect these 9 girls."
I furrow my eyebrows.

How are we going to manage to keep them all save?
"One of you will take care of the smaller group. That is made out of five members."
Suddenly the colonel looks directly at me.
"First Lieutenant Hwang."
"Yes, sir!"
"My daughter and captain Yoo speak very high of you. I am sure you can protect the five of them alone."
"Yes, sir!"
I curse at Shi-jin and Ye-Jun in silence. Great. Thanks to them, I now have the most difficult task of all of them.
I am no stranger when it comes to protect celebrities and idols who are in huge trouble. But that's not it. Usually I always work with the guys.
Sure. We get separated sometimes during missions and I have to survive alone, but protecting someone is different. Usually we are five people taking care of maximum five people. This is very different than usual. It must be a really serious thing, if we have to operate like this.
"To prevent any further risks for you and the idols, you guys won't be acting as special force members. If anybody asks you, you are not even a soldier. You are all just bodyguards from the same company, hired to protect these girls."
"Yes, sir!!"
"That's all. I will leave now. If you have anything to say or to ask, you know what to do."
"Yes, sir!!"
With that, he enters the car and leaves the garage. As soon as it is out of sight, Wolf grunts in frustration.
"What did we do to deserve this?"
"Shut up." Panther looks at us sternly. "The mission begins from this point on. Focus, everyone. Take your guns and let's go to the meeting. There, we will be introduced to the girls."

Me and my members sit in JYP's office, waiting for Itzy.
"What is this about?"
"I am sorry girls, but please wait for Itzy to arrive, so I don't have to explain everything twice."
Right at that moment, Itzy and their manager walk in. JYP orders them to sit down too, and starts talking.
"I am trying to be as honest as possible here, but I don't want to scare you. As you might have realized, the crime rate in Korea went up. Due to that, I decided to increase your security detail. From now on, you will have bodyguards following you and protecting you. They are from a special agency. A friend of mine promised me those 5 are the best."
Only five people? I raise my hand.
"Yes, Sana?"
"Why only five? Don't they have enough bodyguards?"
"Good question. I made this decision spontaneously. Because of that they weren't able to prepare much. But don't worry. They are the best in the business and my friend promised me that they will keep you save."
Jihyo looks at all of us
"I don't think any of us will have a problem with that."
"That's great but I have one more thing."
We all look at him in anticipation.
"The bodyguards will live with you, and"
He isn't able to continue. All of us jump out of our chairs. The office is a mess. Everybody starts talking and arguing.
Momo says she is afraid, someone might eat her snacks. Dayhun is afraid about her chocolate too. Jihyo and Jeongyeon are afraid of mine and my members safety. Nayeon is arguing with Yeji about the up and downs. Lia keeps talking to Ryujin who seems as annoyed as usual. Yuna talks to Chaeryeong, who just seems flustered and looks like she zoned off.
JYP tries to settle the chaos, but nobody listens to him. It takes several minutes, until everyone is almost as quiet as before.
"The five off them are waiting outside right now, ready come in. Will you all be able to contain yourselves?"
He looks at all of us sternly.
Finally we all nod and he picks up the speaker to his secretary.
"Please let them in."
He turns towards us.
"Due to security reasons, they won't go by their real names, but nicknames."
The first man enters. His sharp eyes observing us and the room.
"This Panther. He will be the one in charge."
"Hello. It's nice to meet you all."
The other three men walk in and get introduced.
"This is Tiger."
"This is Seahawk."
"This is Wolf."
"The four of them will guard twice."
He looks at Jihyo and then at us.
"I hope you get along."
We all nod and greet them.
"Hello. We are Twice!"
They all bow at us friendly. They do seem a bit cold but I guess that's just because they are bodyguards.
"The last of them will take care of Itzy. I heard only good things about him, so I am sure he will be able to manage the five off you by himself."
We all chuckle after his comment and look at the door, that is about to open.
