THROWBACK

Vacation before 5th grade....

My dad enrolled me to a Taekwondo School since it's summer vacation while my brother was enrolled for his mixed martial arts for the 2nd time.

" I'll fetch you later my baby ok? "

" But dad i don't really wa---- "

" I'll buy you a box of your favorite drink "

my eyes widen and i start to giggle

" See you later dad! love you! " dad kiss my cheeks then i start to walk while waving at him

" Love you too! Have fun! "

It's just a small place. When i enter i sat at the rubber floor mat legs straight while my back leaning the wall. I decided to close my eyes since i went here a bit early.

I was half asleep when i felt someone passed in front of me so i open my eyes and saw a boy facing the floor. Then i realize he just tripped because of my legs.

" u ok? " i tap his shoulder

He turn his head then his purple eyes met mine

" Do i look ok to you? I just tripped because of your legs " he stood up then get rid the invisible dust on his taekwondo uniform.

i bite my lower lip " I---I'm sorry "

" Tch " he walk away and went to the other side of the room

After 2 weeks today is our 2nd 1 on 1 practice

" Kurokawa vs. Haitani " i walk at the center then saw the purple eyed boy walking in front too.

He didn't even bother look at me we just bowed then start. Since my brother though me some basics and our sensei teaches many moves too for the past 2 weeks i used all that i learned.

I won

Our sensei dismissed a bit early so i decided to go to the nearest convenient store to buy my favorite drink since finished the one that i brought.

A playground is not that far from the taekwondo place so i decided to go there. While i'm walking i saw someone sitting legs bend head bowed at the big tree near the playground.

Since i'm curious i decided to tap the shoulder of the boy. He turn his head up meeting my eyes. I was shock because it's the boy i defeated earlier.

" What do you want? " he said in annoyance

" is something wrong? "

" None of your business " he rolled his eyes

" Ow ok " i awkwardly chuckle " Sorry "

i was about to walk when he suddenly speak

" You are good " i look at him confused

" Ha? "

" A girl defeated me for the first time...... It upsets me. " he look away

" Then beat me next time " he look at me again then i smile. his cheeks turns red

" You look like a tomato Hayani "

" Hayani? "

" That's ur surname right? "
