a walk around the town

Sapnap yawned and set the phone down and yawned. It was lonely without his charismatic caretaker around. But he hadn't really explored the house. All he had done was go to the kitchen and back.

He crept out of the room quietly and wandered around the area. There was an office with a fairly complicated computer setup and lots of bookshelves. A couple papers were scattered around, and he could see the empty box of his new phone on the desk. But other than that he had nothing to entertain him in here.

It seemed there was also a small lounge area in the basement, but it felt creepy to just sit there alone.

So upstairs Sapnap went. He already figured out the path to the kitchen, so he took a different turn and ended up in the living room area. It was much larger than the one downstairs and had some seating and a coffee table. There was a cover thrown over the back of the sofa, but other than that it seemed as if nobody lived there at all.

There was the bathroom, the kitchen, the dining room, and another door that he had yet to explore.

Sapnap peeked his head in and realized it was a garage. It had two cars. One he was sure he had ridden in at one point. The other one however he had only seen in car shows.

"What the hell does this guy do for a living?"

He went back into the main house and went to the stairs that led to the second floor. He hadn't cared to explore here at all. It didn't matter at the time. But now he was bored and wanted to do something.

As Sapnap finally reached the top he was met with yet another sitting area. "Goddamn this man really likes sofas." There were a couple other doors leading to other areas however, so he did not stop there.

The first door was access to what looked like a guest room. Nothing particularly interesting about it. The second door was a washer and dryer, and the third was another bathroom. Which left him the last door.

He opened it slowly and looked around.

Dream's bedroom.

Inside it was certainly a little more human than the rest of the house. There were clothes all on the ground, there was trash in the bin, the bed was unmade, and the drawers of the dresser were cracked open.

Sapnap shook his head and began walking around to clean up. It would give him something to do. He made the bed and closed all the drawers and then began to focus on the clothes on the ground.

He picked up a pair of pants and cocked his head when a slip of paper fell out. Sapnap put the pants in the laundry basket and picked up the paper.

Sapnap's brain froze for a solid second as he read the paper. It was a phone number. Certainly not his own. He knew he had the chance to hurt his own feelings with this, but his shaking hand still went to his own phone.

He typed the numbers slowly, before pressing the call button holding the phone to his ear.
