A shivering Carolynn sits in the middle of the backseat, her arms wrapped around her bare stomach her body only covered by her cheer skirt and sports bra.
Nathan and Lucas occupied the front seats, as Nathan tried to start the car but much to their miss fortune the tires spun mud everywhere, the car not moving an inch.
"You have got to be kidding me." Carolynn groaned
"Bail!" The three Scott siblings said before jumping out of the car, the two brothers pushing their sister slightly in front of them as they sprinted away.
The Scott siblings ran as fast as they could, this might be the only time Carolynn would ever slightly thank Dan Scott for dragging her up at 5:30 in the morning to go on runs with him and Nathan when she lived with them.
The three run onto the road where they see a car coming towards them, about to run again until Carolynn recognizes the car.
"Wait, guys that's Peyton." Carolynn said
The car which indeed belonged to Peyton stopped just short of them, all the teens stared at each other not knowing what to think.
"Haley and Peyton?" Lucas asked confused
"Jay?" Carolynn asked confused since last she knew he was still suppose to be on the bus
"Carolynn, thank god I've been looking all over for you guys!" Jay exclaimed getting out of the car and hugging her tightly
"You have no idea how happy I am to see you." Carolynn said
"What happened to your clothes?" Jay asked wrapping his letterman's jacket around her body
"Long story, why aren't you on the bus?" Carolynn asked
