It went dark again. I'm starting to feel like this is just going to keep happening.
I looked around, and I'm immediately met with more pain, yet the same as before. So I waited.
More and more time passed like last time, but this felt like it took longer.
Another orb started flying around me. I knew I had to catch it.
Do I tried, but that little thing is fast and smart. I realised I still had my sword (which I named Dragon Destroyer after all this) and hit the orb out of the air with the flat side of it. I managed to catch it before it could fall down.
Immediately when the orb felt the warmth, it glowed and disappeared from my hands. It appeared on the belt on my chest.
More memories started flooding my head once again. These are different, however...
I saw all the things I did that I was proud of. My achievements. Not in the 'game', but... Somewhere else. I remember the pc I built, the cat I managed to save (and adopt), the one time I stood up for myself to fight back against a bully...
The memories end.
It goes white again, but this time, I'm ready to face whatever game is next on the list. I felt like I could take down anything.
Let's do this.
