"Our only hope?" Steve asked Sandra, looking at what Sandra had done. "What's our only hope?"

Sandra looked away from her sequence, her eyes going up to see her brother. "Time travel." She said.

Steve laughed. "You didn't discover time travel. It's impossible."

"Nothings impossible nowadays." Sandra said. "I want my kids and my husband back, Steve. I'm going to make sure I do anything and everything to get that, all I have to do now is go back in time and get the stones then snap and boom, they're back."

Steve shook his head. "Sandra we don't know if that's how it works.." he said, crossing his arms. "I don't want you to try it and fail and then run away again."

Sandra sighed, closing her project and saving it to a safe file where she wouldn't lose it. "Look Steve, if your not on the same track as I am, I don't want to hear it. It's my turn to accomplish something." She said, hugging her stomach. "I'm going up to get cleaned up then I'm going to bed, you can stay or you can go."

Steve sighed but nodded his head. His sister definitely needed some sort of therapy, it was clear. She seemed very off, but he has to just show some support.

Once Sandra was gone, Steve looked around the main floor trying to find anything new she could've done or taken out when he noticed a shoe box sitting on the kitchen counter.

Making sure she was gone, Steve approached the box and opened it. He was surprised to see it full of folded papers, each of them with a different date.

Picking up one of the letters, Steve read the date which was the day right before she ran away. He took one more peek down the hallway before opening the page and reading it.

Bucky,

I think writing to you is helping me a lot more than I thought. I'm doing a lot better now, my back is all healed from getting smacked into a rock and my head is basically ok too. Lately I've just sat in our room crying as if that was going to magically bring you guys back. I'd realize that crying wouldn't help so I'd drown it out like I used to always do, dancing through the house with the ghost of you. I know you'd technically not dead, or at least I refuse to believe it, but I feel like sometimes your right next to me. How are the kids? Are they with you wherever you are?

Love you all to the moon and back infinite times
-Sandra

Steve frowned as he finished reading the letter, picking up another one from an earlier date.

Bucky,

I really wish you were here with me right now buck, it's gotten worse. God dammit why was I the one who has to deal with this stupid depression. I stared at myself in the mirror just an hour ago for a about ten minutes with a handful of pills in my hand. I almost did it again buck, but I didn't have you to run in and slap them from my hands. I think I'm like.. like insane. I just want you to come home and hold me just like you always have and tell me it's going to be ok... that's all I want to hear right now. The only thing keeping me from giving up is that little bit of hope that your still out there somewhere, and that I could find Thanos myself and kill him. I haven't really spoken to anyone either. The doors and windows have stayed locked since I've been home.. I don't want the sympathy. I'll probably write to you more, but this is it for now.

I love you
-Sandra

Steve felt his stomach drop as he finished the letter, especially after finding out what Sandra had actually felt after the blip. He knew Sandra would stoop down to an extremely low point after losing her family, but once he realized it was that bad he felt terrible.

Before actually going to bed, Steve went upstairs to Sandra's room just to check on her. Once he slowly opened her door, he seen her laying in a ball with a big hoodie on and hugging the pillows surrounding her.

It was obvious she was wearing Bucky's hoodie. It was one of the avengers hoodies Tony had made up a few years ago for the team with everyone's name on the back, this one saying Barnes.

"Go to sleep Stevie." She mumbled, squinting her eyes shut as the hallway light shone in.

Steve sighed. "Are you ok?" He asked in a whisper, watching as she began to sit up in the bed. Steve went and sat beside her, putting his arm around her. "Sandy tell me the truth ok? I won't be mad."

Sandra frowned, half asleep as she tiredly leaned against her brother. "I'm really not ok." She mumbled, trying not to fall asleep. "None of his clothes have his scent anymore.."

Steve looked down at Sandra and frowned. He knew how much the little things about Bucky meant to Sandra, including his scent. "How about you come back with me to the compound tomorrow and we show everyone the plan. I have something you'll like there too."

"They'll think it's a stupid idea." She said.

"Trust me, we've tried everything so far, they won't even care about the crazy level."
