Mikey POV
It's been a day that felt like a lifetime. I never thought I'd be planning my wife's funeral.

"Daddy you said mommy was going home why she not here?" Ivory ask looking up at me with her big brown eyes.

"She's not coming home Ivy" Kai said looking away from his ipad.

"Why not?" She asked looking confused.

"She's dead" Kai said with no emotion.

"Mommy's dead?" She said with tears coming to her eyes.

"Yeah baby girl mommy gone"

"Why didn't you tell me!"she screamed "why didn't the doctors help her"

"Ivory calm down"

"I hate you!" She screamed running upstairs

"I'm sorry daddy" Kai looked at me crying.

"It's okay Kai she's watching over us, ALL of us"I hug him tightly

He fell asleep with me holding him so I went to check on Ivory.

Her door was cracked open and she was on the floor throwing toys.

"Mommy please come back, please, please,please"

She started to cry harder and harder. I walked in and she just went ballistic. I held onto her as she cried before her breathing started to settle down.

"She's gone and I didn't get to see her" she said

"I didn't want you to see mommy like that baby girl" I say being totally honest with her.

"I want to see her"

"I'll see what I can do" I rock her back and forth.

"I don't hate you daddy I was mad"

"It's okay baby girl" I kiss her head

"Dad your phones ringing!" Kai yelled from downstairs.

I came and got the phone right on time. It was the hospital.

"Hello?"

"Hello Mr Williams Aya's up" I heard and I was so happy but I couldn't express that.

"I thought-"

"Yeah but she's a fighter she's asking to see you"

"I'm on my way" I say

"Who's that dad?" Kai asked

"Get your shoes and get Ivory we going to auntie Jade's"

The kids ran to the car and I took them to Jade.

"What's up?" Jade opened the door in a robe.

"Hey I got a call from the hospital saying Aya was up-"

"Oh my god" she gasped putting her hand over her mouth.

"Don't tell the kids, Kai already told Ivory Aya was dead"I whisper

"Go see my friend"

"Thank you so much" I say

Aya POV
I had baby Kairo laying on my chest sleep, thank God I made it.

"Are you sure your okay ma'am"

"Yes I'm fine" I smile weakly. Just happy to be alive.

"Baby?" I heard a very familiar voice.

"Baby!" I say unable to move

"I'm so happy your okay" he came over to hug me but stopped seeing the baby.

While I was "dead" Mikey ass named my baby. This was King Kairo Williams.

"Look at you man" he said in a baby voice picking up King setting him in the plastic bin they call a baby bed.

"I was almost gone for good" I say crying.

"Shh it's okay"he cradled my head.

"It was Alexa she was following me she shot me in my leg then my stomach"

"It's okay"

"She was tryna kill the baby"

"It's okay we straight"

"I miss my kids" I say wiping my face.

"Oh about that. Kai told Ivory you were dead."

"Oh Lord" I chuckle

"She was so upset she said she hated me"

"Aww baby" she touched my hand

"She said she didn't afterwards but that hurt" he said and you could see it in his face.

"I'm probably here all week but I do want to see my kids"

"I'll make it happen"

"I love you" I told him

"I love you too" he said kissing me

"I know"

"I thought I lost you for good"

"God wasn't done with me yet"

"Yeah and I'm glad he's not" he kissed my hand

"Did the shaderoom post anything about me? Ion want them-"

"Nah they know nothing"

"Whew thank goodness" I say in relief.

"You are a mess girl" he laughed at me.
