Hayley's POV
I couldn't believe my eyes. Was it really him?
I touched his cheek lightly to make sure I wasn't dreaming and my heart fluttered when he took my hand in his

In that moment, I wasn't sure of what to do

"Mommy" Elijah's excited voice made both me and Christian to look at him, while I got on my knees to face him Christian just glanced at me

I suddenly felt weird about this whole thing

"Mommy we bought so many toys and daddy also bought me a toy car"

"Daddy?" Christian spoke for the first time and that's when Elijah noticed him

"Who's this mommy?"

Unsure of what to say I nodded my head, and held his hand. I turned around to look at Christian and without saying anything I got out of the store
With my heart beating wildly inside my chest I took Elijah as far away from the store as I could and we bumped right into kai

"Hey there flash, what's wrong?"my worried face made him worried and he gently touched my shoulders

"Mommy was talking to a tall guy in the store but when I asked her who he was, she didn't answer me"
Kai met my eyes and fear spread through him. I dreaded but I had to confirm his fear so I just nodded my head

"Hayley" he spoke softly but I hugged him
He hugged me back and a confused Elijah stared at us

"Mommy why are you crying?"

Kai's POV
Hayley got off me and looked at Elijah, she wrapped her arms around him and picked him up
"Let's go" was all she said

We quietly made our way to a table and sat. Hayley occupied herself by talking to Elijah, who also seemed to forget his doubts from a minute ago and got busy showing his toys

I, on the other hand was super tensed. If Elijah saw Christian then Christian also saw Elijah

I wasn't scared of Christian but I was worried for Elijah. Even if he wasn't mine he never deserves to be stuck in this.

Hayley avoided meeting my eye and I could tell she felt guilty about all this

As much as I wanted to tell her to not worry I knew she was back to square one. She once again had to choose between two guys but this time it was a tough decision because she has Elijah

I was partly happy that I had my chances because this was the family I finally wanted.

A part of me also knew that Hayley would always chose Christian and that thought always let me down
It wasn't long that my fears were finally speaking for themselves when the guy himself found me

"Hey kai, long time no see?"
