Some days passed and Kakashi and I walked home. Kakashi wondered about the kind of training Naruto was going through with Fukasaku.

"At least he is keeping his mind occupied," I said staring at the distance.

"Yeah, I intend in keeping you occupied too," he said, "I need some ginger, wait here."

I waited as he walked in the grocery store. I was confused as he came out with a bag of groceries. "I thought you said you needed ginger, what you got there?"

"Some veggies, I'm going to teach you how to cook," he said with excitement.

"I can cook, thank you very much," I complained.

"Well, I do owe you a homemade meal, remember?" he was referring to that morning before I was taken.

I looked at him and smiled, we walked to his apartment and I helped him chopped the veggies. He told me we were making a broth, with rice noodles and fish. I enjoyed cooking, but I wasn't good at it. I always been on the go and on missions, so cooking wasn't one of my strongest qualities. Kakashi was so patience and a really good teacher, he explained everything step by step. I added all the ingredients together just as he told me and the after math was delicious.

"Where did you learned how to cook?" I asked him.

"Well, just like you I became an orphan at a small age," he sighed, "but unlike you, nobody cared for me, so I had to learn by myself."

"Well, yourself taught soup is delicious," I said as I continue eating.

"That is because you made it," he said with a smile on his face. I just stared at his face, he wasn't wearing his mask, and he had such a beautiful smile. I started to blush a little as I saw his face change expressions.

"Do I have something on my face?" he asked

"No... it's, umm, I- it's" I didn't know what to say. I looked away and I could feel my cheeks getting red.

"What is it?" he said with a smug face, "don't tell me I am making you nervous now?"

"You wish," I said looking away. I continue eating my food, but I could sense that he was watching me. Why was I acting like this, I never been like this with Kakashi, it was just weird, was it the hormones? I wondered.

"You look so cute when you blush," he said, finally looking away.

"Yeah, well, not all of us can hide it under a mask," I said as I finished the last of my food.

When we were done, I helped him do the dishes. His apartment was always immaculate, he had this thing for germs. My apartment on the other hand needed a good dusting.

"Alright, that was fun, thank you," I said drying my hands with a kitchen towel.

"We can do it every night if you want," he said and suddenly scratched his head, "wait that came out wrong."

I blushed but tried to hide it behind smile, "you need to stop reading Jiraya's books."

"Well, lately that is the closest thing I get to... well," he sighed as he realized how uncomfortable this was becoming, "never mind."

"Good night Kakashi," I said walking towards the door, but he got to it first.

"let me walk you."

"No need I literally live next door," I argued but he insisted.

We walked outside and I got my key out and unlocked my door, "good night" I said one more time as I tried to open the door. His big hand pushed the door and closed it again.
