Two days later we arrived in the island, which was not an island but giant turtle swimming in the ocean. Iruka went back with the ship to report to lady Tsunade, who was already in the Hidden Cloud Village with the rest of the shinobi army. Iruka was only going to come back if it was absolutely necessary. Naruto started with his 'mission', and I was escorted to my room. I was not allowed to be unsupervised under any circumstances.

The first few days I slept a lot and read the books Kakashi bought me. I met Killer Bee, the jinchuriki of the eight tails when I was walking with Motoi, the man in charge of watching me. He told me all about his encounter with Sasuke and I apologized for those actions. He was very understanding and accepted my apologies. I noticed the sword that he was carrying, that is Samehada, I thought, Kisame's sword. I asked him about it and he told me how he fight a member of the Akatsuki in the Land of Fire and kept his swords after he defeated the man. Kisame was not a person to go down easily, I thought, something about this wasn't right.

The days passed and I started to get a feeling that the war was about to begin. I was surprised to see that Motoi had left me alone in the house where he was keeping me. I went outside to look for him and found Guy instead. We walked towards the waterfall where a Hikku and Motoi were waiting.

"Where is Naruto and, Ten-" I was interrupted by a loud noise and a familiar chakra coming from inside the waterfall. "Kisame," I whispered, he was here. Kisame or what looked like Kisame ran out of the cave and jumped in the water. Hikku immediately attacked him, sending his needles his way. Kisame evaded the attacked and jumped out of the water in his regular form, he smiled at me before he took off running.

"He knows our location," Tenzo yelled, "we must get him."

All the men chased after Kisame, except Motoi who stayed staring at me. "You know that man?" he asked me.

"Yeah, he is an Akatsuki member," I said keeping the detains to myself, "let's go we have to hurry."

We caught up to them and saw water splashing everywhere. Guy was fighting Kisame in the middle of the ocean. I was tempted to activate my Sharingan to see what was going on, but I saw Motoi eyeing me carefully. "Tenzo, we have to help Guy, Kisame is a very dangerous man," I told him.

"No worries bushier brow sensei is winning," a very bright Naruto said from next to me.

"Oh my god, you did it," I said amazed, "you controlled the nine tails."

"Yeah" he said with a smile on his face.

I looked to see where guy was and saw a green bright light, then more splashing, and finally, a giant wave. He is opening the inner gates, I thought. After a few minutes, Guy appeared at the distance with the man on his shoulder. Kisame was passed out.

Tenzo immediately restrained him with his wood technique and looked at me, "find out what you can."

I nodded and walked in front of the Kisame, but before I could do anything, I turned to look at Motoi. "I need my Sharingan for this," he nodded and I activating it. I placed both hands on Kisame's head and took a deep breath before I went deep in his head. I saw his life as a shinobi, his missions and why he went rogue. I saw him joined the Akatsuki and meeting Itachi for the first time. I also saw his time with Itachi, their conversations about life and me.

Kisame knew about me before we even met. I saw how happy he was for Itachi when I became part of the Akatsuki. He also knew about his disease and how Itachi was dying. Tears started to leave my eyes and my breathing became erratic as I saw Kisame cry for Itachi when he died. I tried to see more ahead but he was fighting me. I changed to Mangekyo Sharingan to force my way through his head, but he was strong. I could feel how the tears that were running down my face got heavier and warmer.
