Emily woke up with a major headache
She already knew she was in trouble because she didn't even remember coming home, which means someone found her and brought her home
She took some ibuprofen and went downstairs to see only her father was home
She sighed to herself, she wasn't in the right mindset to get yelled at
Klaus looked over to her and she quickly left to the kitchen to see a plate of breakfast on the counter
Usually, she made her own breakfast "That is for you," She heard from behind her making her jump
"um, I am fine I can make my own," Emily said she didn't trust anyone
Klaus looked sad as she turned away and got a bowl out and got herself some cereal
"Everyone is out for the day, I chose to stay here, maybe we can do something?" Klaus said/asked
Emily froze 'What was going on with him?' she asked herself "I am just going to stay in my room, probably go out and hang with my friends from school," Emily said and Klaus nodded while keeping his head down so she wouldn't see him upset
'Of course, she wouldn't want to be with you all day, she said it was like she never had a father' Klaus said to himself
"Maybe tomorrow?" Emily asked because she could see he was a bit upset and even though he ignored her, her entire life, she still loved him in a way
Klaus nodded giving her a small smile as she walked out of the kitchen
He sighed taking the food on the counter and put it in the fridge
He heard the front door close meaning she just left to be with her friends
'I will make things right' Klaus said to himself
Emily got dressed and left the house to her friend's house who invited her to come over knowing how her family left her alone pretty much every day
"You know Emily, if you ever have enough of your family, you could always move here with me, My mom absolutely loves you," Amelia said
"I know Amelia but my father actually wanted to hang out with me today, now he would notice if I disappeared randomly," Emily said and Amelia sighed
"Maybe he wants to change?" Amelia said
Emily shook her head "No, I remember some of last night it's coming back in pieces, I drunkenly told him it was like I didn't have a father and now he feels guilty and wants to make up for it but you know me, I don't trust anybody but you and your family," Emily said
"You have a good point Em," Amelia said
"I know I do Lia," Emily said
"Why don't you fake your death, You are the only human in that house so they would believe you are dead and not hold onto hope that you are going to come back," Amelia said
"Now if I fake my death how will I get away from them without them noticing me or having them wonder where my body is, because they wouldn't believe I was dead without seeing my body," Emily said
Amelia didn't say anything "What about your uncle and aunt?" Amelia said
"Away on vacation for the next month," Emily said
Amelia sighed and they continued to hang out for the next few hours
Emily walked into the door and saw her father sketching on the couch so she just walked up to her room and sat on the bed
She heard a knock on her door and saw her father walking in
"How was hanging with your friend?" Klaus asked
"Good," Emily answered and he nodded
"It's only 5 o' clock what do you plan on doing?" Klaus asked
"Take a shower and watch TV then go to sleep," Emily said
Kol and Davina got her a TV for her room after she turned 13
Klaus nodded "If you need anything I will be downstairs and around 6 dinner will be made," Klaus said and walked out of her room closing the door
She sighed and got into the shower
*After her Shower*
She laid in her bed and Klaus walked in
"Dinner is ready love," Klaus said
"Um, I am alright I ate a lot at my friends house," Emily said, she just didn't want to eat with the whole family who she heard down stairs
Klaus sighed and left the room and went to have dinner with the rest of the family while Emily laid in her bed watching TV and slowly falling asleep
