*The Next Day*

Klaus walked over to his daughters room to see if she was awake but heard that she wasn't so he went downstairs and saw his family in the Living Room
"Will you come out with us today Dad?" Hope asked but Klaus sighed and shook his head
"I'm sorry but no sweetheart, I have some business to deal with today," Klaus half lied, he wasnt going out with them but it wasn't because of business
He needed to get closer to his youngest daughter
"What kind of business Niklaus," Elijah asked
"Emily's School called me and I need to go down and see them about her classes," Klaus lied
"Why didn't you tell me?" Hayley asked
"They called when I was up in my room, and I just told you," Klaus half lied
"Do I need to go down?" Hayley asked but Klaus shook his head
"No, they asked for me," Klaus lied
They all nodded and left for the day
*12:00*
Emily walked downstairs and saw her father in the kitchen deciding what to make Emily for lunch
"What would you like to eat for lunch?" Klaus asked Emily
"I don't eat lunch," Emily said which was true no matter where she was she never ate lunch or dinner
She only ate breakfast and never got hungry again
"Why?" Klaus asked kind of concerned for her health
"After I eat breakfast I never get hungry again until the next morning," Emily said while shrugging like it wasn't a big deal
Klaus didn't comment on her not getting hungry, planning to ask Freya to look into it later "What are your plans for today?" Klaus asked
"Nothing much I usually sit in my room all day," Emily said
'How do I ask if she wants to paint with me without making her say no' Klaus thought
"Did you need anything else?" Emily asked
"Uh, yeah I was wondering if you would like to come paint with me?" Klaus asked
"I don't paint," Emily said
Klaus looked at her "I have seen the paintings in your room?" Klaus said confused
"The paintings are from my friend Henry, I don't paint," Emily said
"Do you draw?" Klaus asked
"Not really, only when I am in a certain mood," Emily said
"What kind of mood?" Klaus asked
"When I am happy," Emily said
Klaus looked at her sad, he has never seen any of her drawings meaning she most likely is never happy
"And I know what you are doing," Emily said
Klaus froze "Which is?" Klaus asked
"You feel guilty because I told you that I never really had a father," Emily said
Klaus looked at her and didn't say anything, he didn't know that she remembered that
"I don't want you to love me and pay attention to me just because I said something to you when I was drunk," Emily said and walked out of the kitchen to her room so she could watch her favorite show Grey's Anatomy
Klaus sighed as he sat on the stool and rubbed his hands down his face
"Looks like you lied to us all," Klaus heard from behind him
"Brother I am not in the mood," Klaus said
"If you wanted to spend time with Emily you could have just said so instead of lying," Elijah said
"It doesn't matter she doesn't want to spend anytime with me, I am very sure you heard what she said," Klaus said
Elijah sighed and sat next to his brother "Kol and Davina call everyday asking how she is, maybe you can ask them how to get Emily to spend time with you," Elijah said then left the kitchen
