it's only been a few days since sm's boy group, nct, introduced 3 new members; sungchan, shotaro, and scarlett. but fans are already loving them and their charms.
though, there seem to be a problem with one of the new members, scarlett.
a few days ago, sm released a teaser “LA FEMME FATALE | THE TEASER”, which fans thought that she was gonna be a solo artist or a member of a new girl group.
but it looks like we were all wrong, she's been added to sm's boy group, nct.
nct is known for their unique concept such as unlimited members and 4 sub-units focusing/basing on different things like seoul, china, and teens.
but no one saw adding a female member coming.

the famous femme fatale is named scarlett (full name araki sumiko) and she's 19 years old. also, she is japanese-korean. at 19, she's the 4th youngest nct member.
she's assumed to be added in nct's dance. her looks also suggest she may be also a visual position.
with her icy look but sweet personality and skills, scarlett has stolen the hearts of people.
some do have a problem of a girl being in a group with boys, 23 boys to be exact. it's completely understandable why people are questioning this.
but we shouldn't hate on scatlett since it wasn't her decision to be added in nct.
what do you think of this situation? was it a good or bad idea to add a female member in a boy group?
