why was and is scarlett not part of girls on top, sm's new girl group?
while scarlett has been gone, which is also a mystery, the subject of her not being in got (girls on top) once again became a hot topic.

everyone that knows about nct, knows about famous la femme fatale, scarlett araki. she was introduced on sm's youtube channel with her own solo teaser on late 2020.
before her debut in nct, many expected her to be a soloist or even the leader/center of sm's current girl group, aespa.
fan were shocked and quite disappointed after girls on top debut teasers were released and scarlett was not there.
some even, unfortunately and disappointingly, sent hate to members of girls on top because of this even though it's not their fault at all.
many argued about how scarlett should be part of it. she is an amazing dancer with great vocals plus her visuals are also perfect.
if sm really wanted to create a super girl group, then why not add the only *current* female member in a boy group?
( correct me if i'm wrong )
many believe it's because scarlett is part of a boy group (nct) and adding her in a girl group kinda ruins the concept/point of that.
some believe it's because scarlett is preparing for her solo debut, which she has been doing since mid-2021 as some say.
