robby's leg bounced up and down as his advanced literature teach paces back work in the classroom. the brunette couldn't help but keep a close eye at the empty seat that was missing ezra. robby felt like the blonde was avoiding him like the black plague, he managed to make up excuses as to why ezra hasn't reached out to him. he couldn't help but think about the kiss.

robby was confused, ezra told him that he wasn't gay but kissed him anyway. robby didn't want to lie to himself, he enjoyed the kiss and he might've wanted to do it again but ezra was confusing. one minute he didn't want anything to do with robby but the next he was all over robby. he started to question himself, if he kissed a boy; would that make him gay?

ms. paulus tapped on robby's desk, realessing him from his thoughts. "robby? are you okay? class ended a few minutes ago." robby nods attempting to quickly gather his belongings but ms. paulus stops him.

"wait robby you seemed upset today, do you want to talk?" robby sighs dropping his backpack. the brunette takes a seat and brings his fist to his cheek, lying his head on them.

"h-how do you know if you like someone?" robby's heart fluttered by just saying the sentence.

ms.paulus pauses as she thinks of the right words to say. "well robby, when i met my wife, kathryn, i was young. i was sixteen, not too older than you. kat played baseball with the other boys because  at the time, there weren't any female teams. one game as she was batting we locked eyes, i remember seeing her hazel eyes stair into my blue ones. although it was for a second something inside of me just knew she was the one." robby still didn't understand, how could she assume kat was the one after a glance, for all he knew she could've just looked away for a second and just so happen to see ms. paulus.

ms. paulus lays a hand on robby's. "what i'm trying to say is, you don't necessarily have to put a label on something. sometimes you just know, you feel it honey. just remember that you're still young, other people will come." robby soaks in the advice of his teacher, maybe she had a point but know all he could think about was how would he know?

ezra lies in his bed, arms wrapped around himself. he kissed a boy. he kissed a boy in his old playhouse, and he liked it. he enjoyed so much that he wanted to do it again and again. he scared himself everytime he thought about it. he knew he liked girls, he loved them but robby practically topped all the women. ezra couldn't stop think about how soft robby's lips were or how his warm fingers slowly grazed ezra's cold cheek. at first, ezra assumed the kiss was a spur of the moment thing but once they finished, he felt a lack of warmth coming from his lips. robby was like a missing piece to a puzzle.
