This is an AU of Disney's The Little Mermaid.
Where the kingdom Atlantica is now a big city in California, U.S.A.
This is an AU combo of the (1989) movie characters 'n' animated tv series (from the '90s).
The majority of the non-human characters are humans (i.e. Flounder and Sabastian)... The only exception is Max... he's still Eric's dog.
But due to some character's names... Some of them were given real names... But they may have their original name for their nickname (i.e. Flounder).
Yet there are even fewer who kept their original names... It's because it would make sense in the story somewhat (i.e. Urchin and Triton).
But I'm staying pretty true to the characters of who they are... But there may be minor tweaks here and there...
As you read the story you'll see what I mean...
