      julianna sat at desk nervously biting her nails while waiting for louis to pick up the phone.

      21 by gracie abrams playing in the background softly offering her some comfort. she was worrying about whether or not louis would even pick up sense he had been so busy as of late.

      louis finally picked up on the last ring, she could hear laughing and faint talking in the background. "what's up darling?" he asked. the girl placed her hands in lap as an attempt to calm down and not completely ruin her nails. "how are you doing?" she asked, not wanting to come off as a clingy girlfriend.

      "good,you?" louis replied. "i'm ok, i was just wondering why i haven't really seen you, you know lately." she said once again chewing her nails. julianna suddenly wished she hadn't called at all. wishing she was at izzie's house watching mama mia. there was a slightly uncomfortable silence until he finally said, "yeah, i've been busy.

      julianna looked down fidgeting with her hands trying to think of what to say. "yeah it's just that you said that we could hang out soon and that was like two weeks ago." she said, trying to refrain from rolling her eyes. "i said i was busy julianna. what don't you understand about that." he snapped, about ready to hang up. so in response she replied with, "ok. bye." and she hung up.

      julianna let out a sigh she didn't even realize she was holding and threw herself onto her bed and screamed. he's probably just stressed, it'll be better tomorrow she thought to herself. after a few moments she remembered that she had to text the group chat or else azalea would personally strangle her to death.

      the rest of the night the donna and the dynamos + ollie and millie on facetime watched the harry potter movies for probably the hundredth time since they've all been friends. about half way through harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban izzie had gotten julianna to open up about the phone call. She told them everything about how she had tried to keep herself calm and how she thought that he was probably having a bad day.

      "well then he's been having lots bad days." olliestated while shoving popcorn into his mouth. "oli's right juli-" azalea had begun to say. "i'm sorry, did azalea just say that i am right." "oliver shut the hell up. as i was saying, louis has been constantly making up excuses for why he can't hang and when he does he acts like a dick. and suddenly he is hanging out with another girl." azalea stated looking down at julianna softly. She was worried about the girl, juli is her best friend and she will not continue to let her get hurt by the boy who is supposed to care and love her.

      "jules we only want what's best for you and i think we can all agree that louis isn't that at the moment." isabella added, pausing the movie. "i get it, it's just - well maybe he will get in a better mood." julianna muttered trying to justify her boyfriend's behaviour towards her. the friends shared a look knowing that juli wasn't ready to hear that her relationship wasn't working, so they didn't push it. Whether she wanted to admit it or not, julianna knew deep down that louis wasn't busy all the time and that he wasn't just having bad days.
