Lilac's pov
I shoved Alaric aside and ran towards the little white furr and cradle him to chest .
He purred when i scratched his ears and i heard low growl behind me.
I turned around to see Alaric glaring my bun.
I went beside him and hold the rabbit in front him
"Meet my bun. He is cute isn't he?" I said referring to the bunny in my hand and he only glared at him
"What you have towards to this poor bunny?" I said pouting my lips and he's gaze fall on my lips and he's eyes held an emotion that i couldn't pinpoint
"Nothing love. And i was meaning to ask you how did you get in the woods ?" He asked me while raising his one brow
"Ohh i was here for a trip with my parents and yesterday night i saw him" holding up the bunny" he fall in the lake so i jumped after him to save him and after getting out of the lake i went where the cabin was only to find it gone"
I was clearly sure the cabin was there but it just vanished. How that even possible.
"What! You Jumped in the lake ! Do you know how deep it is! You could have died than- i cut him off
"But i am perfectly fine now . So please don't worry about it anymore!" I told him realizing he just told me that tue lake was deep but it wasn't the first time i went swimming in that lake
He was about to speak but i spoke before him
"The lake isn't deep! When i went to swim in that lake with my family it was near waist! Can you tell where is this place!?"i rant out before him in one breath.
" It's the western kingdom love" he softly spoke while gazing at me adoration
"Wait what? I thought i was in California. I-" i trailed off my words slowly understanding something is wrong. The lake used to be deep centuries ago i think i read in on a article
Author's note: i know this doesn't make sense but we should compromise a little
"Are you okay ,my love? " He said cupping my one cheek with his big hand. No matter how much i was overthinking he never failed to make me feel flustered.
"What year is it, Alaric? "I said while he used his other hand to hold my wrist up to his lips and kissed it.
"It's 1781 love. Why are you asking- wait have forgotten everything love should call the physicians to check you up" he while quickly at the end meanwhile me who was shocked as hell.
It can't be 1781 ! As far i know it's 2021! Wait my family pranking me than it's not good . It's not a good prank! But his reactions are telling me it's not a prank but he could be an actor for god sake! I won't say anything now i should play along and find out what is going on with me!
"No i am totally fine !i just asked you the year cause i-umm ! By year i got to know i didn't got to know your age! How old are you?!" I said it all in one breath to save myself. I hope he bought it and let the topic go
"I am 26 love. May i ask how old is my little love?" He said chuckling as he patted my head in a soft manner. But his gaze hardened when his eyes fall on the bunny. Really what's his problem with my bun!he is so cute ! And who is the lunatc that doesn't love my bun! Of course Alaric.
"I am 18 and you said it's a Kingdom so there will be a king and queen! Can i meet them! I said while giving him my puppy doe eyes that he can't resist. Since he lives in a castle he is well off! He might have connections with the royals and i will get to meet them! Wait why i am so excited i need to get back home . My parents are worried and my brother will ground me if i don't go back soon
He chuckled and said "of course i will let you meet them , my love"
I give him a smile and accidentally let out a yawn . Now that i think it's dark outside
"Let's go back in the castle love. It's getting late and you need to sleep" he said while grabbing my free hand and intertwined our fingers .
As we started walking he spoke
"You need to leave that thing here . He is not allowed in the castle"
I start whining
"Nooo he goes where ever i go. Please let me take him with me " using my adorable voice that everyone got under spell. He's gaze softened and he let out a defeated sigh
"Fine love now let's go inside it's getting cold here" he said and i tiptoe up to reach his cheek and place a kiss on his cheek
" Thank you!" I said and looked up to see his ear was red . He was lookingso cute
Than we went inside and he walked me to my room . He was first reluctant tonlet the bunny stay with me in the same room but with my one pleading look he melted like butter
After than i changedinto my night dress that was placed in the bathroom ny maid. And i slipped under the duvets and pull it to my chin
My last thought before i blacked out was
