Chapter 3

|All I know since yesterday
Is everything has changed|

As soon as Rosé sees the car a grin breaks into her face, "Okay what is with the cars, who's the girl?" She teased as Jisoo is opening the passenger door for her

"I figured that they need some sunlight and you're the girl"

This time it's the doctor's turn to tease, she just stood there as her best friend gapes at her, eyes wide and jaw dropped

"Are you done being shock that I actually have a crush on you? Can you still close your mouth? Did your brain malfunction or what?"

Jisoo laughs aloud when Rosé hurriedly enters the car, her eyes following Jisoo's every move

She drove to her apartment, Rosé didn't speak a word until she shut the door, well technically - she didn't say anything

She just slammed Jisoo on her own door and kissed her with every burning passion she has in her body

"I'm sorry it took so long but I am hopelessly in love with you Dr. Kim Jisoo"

Jisoo smiles into the kiss and whispers, "I know but as much as I love the taste of coffee in your lips, I'd rather eat the red velvet cake"

They both laughed at their silliness, "don't worry I prefer food over you anyway" Rosé retorts and looked for forks so they can eat the cake

"I've known that since preschool when you sucker punched me for taking your apple"

"Hey! I apologized for that and I punched you because you were talking to Nayeon instead of me"

Jisoo remembers that certain memory, "yeah I remember"

"So even when we were still kids you were the jealous type huh?" Jisoo teased and as a result a fist collided with her shoulder that caused her to fall off the sofa

"Apparently you're also the physical one" Jisoo says which earned her a glare from her best friend

"Can you get me some tissues?" Rosé asks so Jisoo went to the kitchen to get some when she got back the cake is nowhere to be found

"And it seems that you're the big eater as well" she mutters under her breath, smiling as she hands the tissue to the lawyer who has a satisfied look on her face

"That is the most amazing cake I have ev--"

"--be my girlfriend"

Before Rosé could say yes Jisoo is already kissing her on the sofa, she could taste the red velvet flavor on the mouth of her best friend and girlfriend

"I could've said no, you know"

Jisoo laughs in between their kisses, "are you really going to turn down being a girlfriend of a chaebol heiress and the head neurosurgeon of our country's leading hospital?" She brags

Rosé pretends to think about it, "I think you missed out why I said, or why I would have said yes"

"Okay...attorney Roseanne Park, will you be my girlfriend?" Jisoo asks again

"Yes, I'd love to Doctor Kim"

"You're my best friend, I've known you for a long time and I was too young to realize what changed when you came but now I do"

"What changed?"

"Everything"

"..."

"That is soooo cheesy"

"Shut up, Jisoo"

"How about you shut me up by--"
