What a beautiful song. I gotta say, the first time I played the game and saw the credits, I definitely felt something spark in my heart when I heard this song. It felt amazing. Free. Beautiful. And I would give anything just to feel that again.
Kalos, the first region where I actually felt alive. And the only region where I felt free without it being open world. Well, Alola's close in second place. But still.
I chose Froakie, of course. How could I not? The little guy was just so cute and had an awesome final evolution. I traveled around Kalos and met my Ace Mega, Absol, who I replaced with a Shiny Absol I created later on.
I think one of my favorite parts about Kalos was running into Moltres randomly during my playthrough. I had no idea what was happening.
