Megumi slightly shook his head to see if he was dreaming but luckily, he wasn't. He slowly went to grab your hand to really see if you were real or not. You quietly chuckled at his childlike antics. He then went to hug you. Almost as hard as Toji's hug was.
Like father, like son.
You then led him inside to talk to him. More than anything, you want to forget about the events of the last decade and continue on with life but your son deserved to know.
Twenty Minutes Later
After you telling him about the events of fifteen years, he asked a ton of questions. Of course, this isn't something that wasn't normal. Megumi has been inquisitive since he was born. That was something you always loved about him.
Now it was his turn to tell you about the past fifteen years.
Like his father, he got more quiet after your 'death'. Toji tried to lighten the mood around him (despite him also being devastated), but it never worked. Deciding to focus on work and his own mental health, he left it alone. He felt like Megumi wouldn't let him in so he gave up. Unbeknownst to him, Megumi felt even more alone afterwards.
