I looked at the now familiar username in the friend request box on discord, my brows furrowing at the funny profile picture he had. The iconic slime popsicle, with glasses and and funny teeth. I quietly laughed at it and pressed the accept button.
I dmed him a quick text to introduce myself, even if he probably knew me already.

I closed out of discord and took off my headset to go make dinner for myself, quickly petting our cat; Honey. She followed us downstairs and to the kitchen just to beg for some chicken like always. I whipped up some ramen and put on Barbie Life in The Dreamhouse, laughing as I scrolled and checked notifications.

I finsihed my dinner while scrolling on his instagram, finally realizing how cute he was.
