She went back to Thornhill and decided to confront Saya, but Saya looked so wearied and guilty that she just couldn't bring herself to confront her. Saya tried to explain to her how she had been trying very hard to control her powers so that she could help Allison but was unsuccessful every time. Saya was indeed happy to see Allison. Allison had been quiet all this time and as her reply, all she said was that she had forgiven her and left. Allison forgave Saya because she knew that she was too guilt-ridden to keep on living with the fact that Allison hated her, she couldn't bear to have Saya suffer like that besides Saya would still have to live her life with a possibility of her becoming someone that she might grow to hate. I guess that's how you get out of the labyrinth of suffering, to forgive and to be forgiven.
