You woke up to the sun shining through your windows and the sound of people rushing around the castle outside. There was a small breeze coming through your windows, much like the one from yesterday. It was a good way to wake up. You got out of bed realizing you slept in your day gown, with your hair a mess from being up while you slept. You sat at your vanity, taking your hair down and starting to brush out the knots when Evangeline walks inside your chambers with breakfast on a little cart.

"Good morning, your maj- sorry, Y/N!," she said, refraining from calling you 'your majesty'.

"Morning, Evangeline," you say, laughing. She sets the tray down on your vanity and starts to walk out the door when you stop here. "Would you like to eat with me?"

She turns around, a bit bewildered at your request. "If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to!" She grabs one of the stools from the sitting area and pulls it up closer to you, sitting down on it.

The two of you eat breakfast together, talking and sharing a few good laughs. She told you about Hector and you told her about your soulmate. It was good bonding for when she came with you to Asgard.

"So your soulmate is amazing, but what about the Prince? What do you think of him?" she asks before popping a grape into her mouth.

You sigh. "I haven't had much time with Loki. We couldn't even speak, his voice was gone when we had alone time."

"I'm sorry to hear that. Don't worry too much, though. You two will have the rest of your lives to get to know each other."

~Loki's POV~

The sun was just starting to rise when Thor bursts into the room. Does he ever knock?

"Brother! You're awake, perfect. How would you feel about having a day to ourselves? We could do little joust like the good ol' days while it's still cool out?," He thought for a moment seeing my tired face. "Maybe pull a few pranks?"

I can't help but smile, he knows how much I love mischief. "Fine, brother. I could use a bit of a day doing things besides wedding preparations.

The oaf's face lights up. "Perfect! Meet me on the dueling grounds then," he says as he leaves. I sigh as I get up, already thinking about what mischief we could get in.

I get down to the grounds, seeing Thor, Sif and the warriors three: Fandral, Hogun, and Volstagg. They were all talking and laughing while Thor sharpened his sword. When he sees me, his face lights up like it always does.

"Brother, you made it! Which sword would you like today?"

I pick the blade I've always used before we take our positions at opposite ends. We start facing away from each other, then turn around with our blades pointing up in front of us, walking towards each other and start the joust.

His friends of course cheer him on. I would say I've always been more graceful than Thor, he's always cared about looking intimidating but I believe jousting comes with a sort of delicacy, a regal sense. I almost had him beat when I got distracted.

'Good morning, darling,' a sweet voice says in my head.

"Good morning, love," I respond, still dueling with my brother. He smiles, knowing his advantage.

'Oh, are you busy? I can always wait-' she says, probably hearing me breathing hard.

"No worries, darling. How did you sleep?"

"Keep your mind on the joust, trickster!" Volstagg yells out. I roll my eyes and ignore them.

  'I slept fine. And you?'

"Well I would've gotten enough sleep if this oaf didn't wake me up as the sun rose-" Thor made a jab but I backed up quickly to dodge it.

"Is that your oh-so beautiful soulmate you dream about?," Fandral shouts, trying to distract me further. I wasn't going to let them get to me, however.

I heard a giggle in my mind and felt my smile grow. "What are your plans for today, darling?"

'Just a dress fitting and then heading over to Asgard tonight. What about you?'

"I believe my brother wishes to spend the day with me-" Another jab from Thor. I dodge and take this opportunity to jab at him, which he wasn't expecting. He lets out a frustrated sigh.

"You win again, brother! Now how about we take a bre-"

"Mischief now?" I suggest. He smiles at my sudden enthusiasm.

"What do you have in mind?

Haven't done a Loki POV in a while! I'm super excited for the mischief part >:)
