You were at the library, reading a novel, it was about a couple that found themselves trapped in a video game world. You picked it up because you liked the idea and began to read. But you could also overhear a conversation, but you pay no mind. It's mostly not your business. You flip to the next page when a figure in a black robe steps towards you. "Hello.." he greets you softly and sits down next to you. "Uh, hi." You respond with a slightly nervous tone. "Watcha reading about?" He asked you, you put a bookmark in the book and shut it, showing the cover of the book to him. "it's nothing much, it's a novel where a couple in love gets trapped in a video game" licorice let a soft laugh slip through "Oh realllllly?" He responded. You felt slightly embarrassed, looking down at the table "Uh-huh." He seemed to feel bad for hurting your feelings, so he pat you on the back "I didn't meeean to offend you, its just natural!" You nodded, looking him in the eyes. They were a nice bright yellow, contrasting his grey skin. There was a little light in his soul that was mostly corrupted with darkness. You saw the skeptical that was his pretty eyes, before a snapping sound could be heard, it was licorice, bringing you back to reality. "Hello? Anybody home?" He asked, genuinely concerned. "Oh.. oh yeah! I'm fine!" You reply nervously. "I'm Y/N, and you?" "I am Licorice cookie!" He responded, seeming oddly enthusiastic with telling people his name "Do you want to go get coffee sometime?" You ask him, which he gives a reaffirming nod "Of course!" You write down your number on a piece of paper, giving him your number. "Alright I'll text you tomorrow!" He mischievously laughed, which only made your heart flutter. You checked out the novel you were reading and started to get in your car, starting to drive home, only getting more and more excited for tomorrow
