Ciana's POV:

I had woken up early this morning to Mable in the room, she had brought me and katsuki breakfast but he was still fast asleep so I didn't wake him, I knew he was tired

"How are you feeling today sugar?" Mable asked

"Better than yesterday" I replied, as I stuffed my face with strawberries

"That's good to hear, all that needs to be done today is a quick check up and you should be on your way this afternoon" she said

"Hey um, Mable, can I ask you something?" I questioned

"Of course you can sweetie"

"Well I know you probably can't give me much information but I was wondering if a Harlow Merlin was ever checked into the hospital recently?"

She gave me a sympathetic look

"Your right, as a doctor I can't disclose that kind of information due to privacy reasons, but...if it's really important to you, I'll see what I can do" Mable said

"Really?!, thank you so much" I said, setting down a cup that was once filled with strawberries

"Anytime, but, can I ask how you know this person?" Mable asked

I hesitated for a second, not sure if I should tell her

Well she did say she'd see what she can do, so It's only fair

"Well, Harlow Merlin is my dad, who I haven't seen in years, I recently found out he was really sick in the hospital just a few days ago and that there's a very high chance of him dying" I explained

"I am so sorry to hear that sugar, I'll do my best to get some information on his status, but in the meantime, I know something that could cheer you up" she said, giving me a gentle pat on the shoulder

Mable turned towards a screen that was next to the hospital bed, turning it on, she grabbed what looked like a small remote but it had no buttons, it was connected to the screen by a long wire

"From the tests we took yesterday, we see you're about eight weeks along, so you're more than ready for an ultrasound, that is only if you want to" she said

"Sure, why not, but after I wake up katsuki" I said, shaking katsuki's shoulders to wake him up

"What?" He said, still half asleep

"Wake up"

Slowly opening his eyes, he didn't say anything, just rested his head on my shoulder

"So how exactly does this work?" I asked Mable

She picked up a bottle of, what looked to be some sort of gel

"It's really simple, I'll just put some gel on your stomach and then move the wand around until I find the baby" she explained

After lifting up my shirt, Mable squeezed the gel onto my stomach, it was cold at first but it slowly wormed up

With the wand in hand and eyes focused on the screen, she gently started to move it around my stomach

A minute past by before Mable had stopped in one spot

"And there's your baby" She said, pointing to the screen

...so small, the size of a peanut, you could see the teeny tiny arms and legs beginning to form. It brought me so much joy seeing the baby for the first time

Pulling my eyes away from the screen, I glanced at bakugou

To my suprise, he had a small but fairly noticable smile

"Since your already at your eight week point, we're able to determine your due date, yours is September 15, twenty nine weeks from now, of course this date isn't one hundred percent accurate, baby could come later or in some cases earlier, I'll get these ultrasound pictures printed for you two and a nurse should come in a bit later to finish your check up" Mable informed

"Who's ready to go shopping!" Mina said as she walked into the hospital room

It was 2 o'clock in the afternoon, katsuki and I were just getting ready to leave the hospital

"Who said we were going shopping?" I asked

"Mrs.Bakugou thought it'd be a good idea to go shopping just for fun, here I brought you a change of clothes" mina replied as she tossing them to me

I went to the bathroom and changed my Clothes, it was a white shirt with pink and gray playboy bunny sweatpants and a matching jacket, with jewelry to go with it

I could tell it was from Minas closest, this is something I usually wouldn't wear

"Where's my phone?" I asked as I walked out the bathroom

"Here" katsuki says, handing it to me

"Ok, come on you two we ain't got all day and Mrs.Bakugou is waiting for us at the mall" mina rushed

We all made our way out the hospital to her car

When we got in the car, Minas mood changed completely, she didn't seem so uppity as she was before, she looked...irritated

I looked in the review mirror at katsuki to see he was already looking at me, he just shrugged his shoulders

We didn't say anything on the way to the mall, just sat in awkward silence
