"The girls will stay in this building while the boys will stay in the building on the right side." The teacher of the other class said. "Don't try to run away from the retreat because we will find you."
"On the first day, we will hold competitions. On the second day, the losers from the competition will prepare the hall for the party, while the winners will participate in the activities prepared by the teachers. On the third and last day, you can do whatever you want but everyone has to attend the party at night." Their teacher said and then walked off the platform.
"Hellooo" Jihyo said walking up to Jungwon and Sunghoon. She then patted Jungwon's head as he poked her dimple.
"Do you want to prepare for the party or do you want to join the activities?" Sunghoon asked.
"I don't know, both don't sound good."
"Guys! We have to win ok! We have to make our class win!" Yujin said running up to Jihyo.
"Why do you want to win so bad?" Jihyo asked.
"It seems the hall is very very big and preparing for the party seems like a lot of work." Sunoo said.
"I didn't come here to peel vegetables for a party." Jay said walking up to them with Ni-ki, Jake and Heeseung.
"Let's make sure our class wins!" Jake said.
"Yeah! We have other things to prepare before the party." Ni-ki said with a smile.
Jungwon then hit his hand lightly. "Ah!" Ni-ki groaned.
Everyone then went to a big field to participate in the competition. The first one was a race between representatives of the two classes.
The representatives from their class were Heeseung and Ni-ki. They won the race.
"I knew we could trust Heeseung and Ni-ki!" Jay said jumping towards them at the finish line.
"What's the next game?" Yujin asked enthusiastically.
"Tug of war." Jake replied.
"I don't think our team will win even if we have strong people like Heeseung or Sunghoon, the rest of the class are weaklings." Sunoo said disappointed.
"Don't lose hope just yet!" Jake said.
The game then started. Their class lost in ten seconds.
Jihyo laughed as the whole class groaned after falling down on their faces. Even though their class was weak, they did have a good sense of humour and laughed as they lost miserably.
The next game was Dodgeball. One class stayed in the circle while the other class formed the circle. Jihyo's class was in the circle first.
Jungwon was about to get hit by the ball but Jihyo blocked it with her leg in time. She got eliminated because of this but her classmates made lovey dovey sounds at Jihyo and Jungwon after she had protected him like that.
Jihyo shyly went to the benches. 'Maybe I do like him?' She thought to herself as she watched him play.
"Your eyes will pop out if you keep staring like that." Yujin said while taking a seat next to the girl.
"How'd you get out so fast? I thought you were good at sports." Jihyo asked.
"I was busy protecting Sunoo when I got out." Yujin said with a smile. "Just like you." She laughed.
"It was not like that. I just protected him because I wanted to sit down." Jihyo said nudging the girl.
"Sure it wasn't." She laughed. "What's the next game?"
"I think it's a relay for the girls?" Jihyo said while standing up to go and form the circle with her classmates for the dodgeball.
Their team lost again as they couldn't eliminate everyone in the circle in time.
"I think I need to get my peeler ready. It's so obvious we're going to lose." Jay said.
"If we win this relay and the last game then we can win" Ni-ki said.
"So who's going to do the relay?" The teacher asked.
Yujin and two other girls volunteered excitedly but they needed one more.
"Jihyo come on! You can do it!" Ni-ki said pushing her out of her seat.
"Ok ok" Jihyo said as she went to her position to run in the race.
The teacher then blew the whistle and Yujin started running like crazy. She was in the lead.
The baton was then passed to the next girl and then the next one. Now, the baton was passed to Jihyo.
The only time she ran was in the mornings when she was late to school. However, she was running quite well. Right when she thought she was doing well, Jungwon cheering from his seat came into her vision. She lost her balance because of this. She tripped a little but didn't fall.
The opponent had caught up with her by now, the two ran together but Jihyo stretched her leg right on the finish line and their team won the race.
"Yayy!!!" Her classmates screamed as they ran to her. They had finally caught up with the score of the other class. Now it was 2:2
Everyone then gathered in the field for the last game. The team that formed the longest line would win the game.
"What kind of useless game is this?" Jay asked as he got into line with his classmates.
"I guess the teachers ran out of ideas." Heeseung said as he stretched his legs to make sure their line was as long as it could be.
Sunoo was even doing a split as Yujin encouraged him. Jihyo was laughing at them.
Their class won by a mere 5 cm. Once the result was declared, their class screamed in joy. Even if they didn't know what activity they would do tomorrow, they were happy to not be stuck preparing the hall for the party.
Everyone then ate food and went back to their rooms. They could choose their own room mates, so, Jihyo was with Yujin.
The lights were already turned off when Jihyo started talking as she lay on her bed. "Yujin, what should I do? I'm so confused with my feelings."
Yujin then turned towards the girl. "What else can you do? You just have to wait and watch."
"Really? That's it?"
Yujin hummed in response as she drifted off to sleep. Jihyo stared at the ceiling as she tried to collect her thoughts and find out what her heart was trying to say. She slept thinking about the particular boy.
