Sev's hand dropped to his pocket- he pulled out a worn piece of parchment, his hands shaking violently as he held it.
I turned to face him, the blood draining from my tired face. None of this made sense. If Severus tortured me, wouldn't I remember? Wouldn't I want to die every time I looked at him? This didn't make sense.
By the time my blurry vision lazed into focus, I realized Severus was feverishly reading whatever was on his paper. He covered his mouth, shocked.
"Y/N..." he said so softly it was barely a whisper.
