Chapter 7

Hayoung finished her morning exercise by taking a seat on the park bench and drinking her water to stay hydrated. when she looked up, she saw Sehun was standing at his window while looking down at her direction

suddenly Hayoung got a naughty thought. she picked out her phone and dialled Sehun's number

she saw him flustered when his phone buzzed, making Hayoung chuckled a bit

"Hello?"

he picked up

Hayoung-I guess you are enjoying
the beautiful view hmm?

"Sorry, what?"

he sounded flabbergasted

Hayoung waved at him when Sehun looked down at her

Hayoung-How do I look from your place?

"Hmm, okay"

Hayoung-Just okay? What else?

"I don't know what are
you talking about, sorry"

Hayoung sighed on the other line. of course he didn't

Hayoung-Oh Sehun sshi

she took a deep, deep breath

Hayoung-I like you

she confessed out of nowhere. Hayoung had been meaning to say it ever since she realised her true feelings for her next door neighbour

"sorry, what?"

Sehun sounded more confused than ever

"I couldn't quite hear you.
can you say it again?"

Hayoung bit down at her lip as she began to instantly regret her action

Hayoung-I said.. I said I would love to ask you out for a dinner tonight

"tonight? dinner?"

Hayoung-yeah. are you free?

"I am"

Hayoung-cool! I will text you the location. see you tonight, bye!

she immediately ended the call. Hayoung picked her stuffs up and ran back to her apartment building. as soon as she reached her house unit, she heard creaking sound from Sehun's door

Hayoung hurried into her house and closed back the door. she heard footsteps fading along the hallway. she could finally breath

Hayoung-aish damn it! why am I so stupid to blurt out something like that? it was so embarrassing

Hayoung rolled into her living room and sat on her couch. she started thinking about tonight's dinner where she invited Sehun with her

Hayoung-oh right? I need to find good clothes to wear

Hayoung rushed into her room and opened her cupboard. she took out all dresses and blouses she'd got and tried to pick just the best one for tonight. but she didn't seem to find anything good to put on
