Chapter 12
" Hello Renard is everything OK ".
"Hello Jack, no things aren't I'm afraid, someone just kidnapped Amy and used Ether, I've notified the police with a description of the Truck and registration number".
"Jeez, I think I may have an Idea, what's the Registration Number Renard".
"Hang on Jack I've got it in a text, I'll send it to you".
A moment passed.
"Renard, that's Tim's Truck, Amy's father, he's not thinking right at the moment and may have to go to a Phycriatric Hospital so let the police know. He's probably heading back to Canada".
"Okay Jack thanks, I'll keep you updated".
"You do that please, bye".
"What's Dad done now Grampa".
"He's used Ether and kidnapped
Amy ".
"Omg, what is wrong with him".
"I think I may have an Idea because he's been complaining of Headaches".
"What, you think he may have".
"It's only a possibility but without a Scan we won't know".
"It would explain his behaviour".
The police were on the look out for Tim's Truck and the control room were watching the CTV and activated the ANPR system to flag up his Truck when he passes any Cameras.
It didn't take very long for his Truck to get a ping.
The Traffic Police were alerted to his Location and the cruisers went after him. They were updated on his possible health condition.
It wasn't long till Tim saw police cruisers in his rear view mirror, as one came up the side of his Truck he swerved into it forcing it off the road.
The chase went on for some time, and was so unlike Tim to be doing anything like this.
After about an hour the police decided to end the chase and put stingers across the road then hid the police cruiser out the way so Tim would not see it until the last minute, as Tim got closer so the police started to pull back, when Tim realised he was way ahead did he guess what was waiting for him so decided to pull off at the next junction, unfortunately it was too late and Tim hit the Stingers blowing out all of his tyres.
A while Later Tim was sat at the side of the road when someone came up behind him very quietly and handcuffed him. He was led away to one of the police cruisers while the other police checked the inside of his Truck and found an unconscious Amy, the officer noticed her pulse was weak and radioed for an Ambulance.
"Go and ask him how much Ether he used".
The officer came back looking concerned, "He said he has no Idea he just tipped some on the cloth, we'd better search the vehicle for the bottle of ether".
It didn't take them long until they found the Bottle of Ether and noticed a fair amount had been used.
They heard the siren of the Ambulance and it didn't take long before they pulled up, the Officer showed them the bottle which Tim had confirmed that it was a brand new bottle.
The Paramedics gave Amy an injection to reverse the effects of the Ether along with an oxygen mask.
Renard was at the Troupes Camp when his phone rang.
Jack and Lisa along with Lou were restless and couldn't settle, the phone rang and Jack grabbed it.
"Hello".
"Hello Jack, they've got Amy and Tim's under arrest, he took them on quite a chase, in the end they had to use stingers to stop him".
"Well at least Amy's safe, she is safe isn't she Renard".
" He overdosed her Jack, he used to much anaesthetic, but thankfully the police got her help and they were able to reverse the effects, so yes Jack she's safe and will be allowed out of Hospital later, early evening.
She says she's not letting him spoil her Once in a Lifetime opportunity , I'll get Amy to call you when she's back at camp".
"Okay Renard thank you for keeping us informed ".
"Your Welcome Jack, speak soon".
