Asami was eating her breakfast when her phone started ringing,
Oikawa is calling! Oikawa is calling!
The phone beeped as she reached over and answered
"Hello oikawa senpai! "
"Hey Sami-Chan! Having a good morning? "
"Yeah, how about you? "
"Oh it's going well, just walking to school when I figured I'd ask you something. "
"Oh what is it? "
"Do you wanna go the mall with me after school? "
"Yeah sure! Sounds fun! "
"Alrighty ! See you then Sami-Chan! "
"Bye Oikawa senpai! "
They then both hung up. Wow she was going to go to the mall with Oikawa! Her and Oikawa were old friends in middle school, but they lost touch after he left.
She slipped her shoes on and headed out side, she noticed Tobio-Chan wasn't out there waiting for her, when she looked at her watch she then realized she was out earlier than usual

She skipped over to his house and knocked on the door, it opened and she saw Mrs Kageyama looking a little frazzled
"Good morning! " Asami chirped waving at tobios mother.
"Oh Asami! Come on in, God I wish Tobio woke up like that! " she said yawning a little. Opening the door wide to let her in.
Asami walked inside and took her shoes off, and sat down on the couch waiting for Tobio to come down.
"TOBIO GET YOUR A$$ DOWN HERE! " Mrs kageyama yelled up the stairs to her son.
"GIVE ME A SECOND GOODNESS!! " he yelled back
Mrs kageyama grumbled and shook her head
"Boys am I right? " Asami said jokingly.
"Mhpf yeah. " Mrs Kageyama replied nodding her head.
Tobio ran do the stairs pulling his shirt down and skipping the last two steps
"You couldn't wait just a second I was brushing my hair out. " he grumbled and walked into the kitchen not even noticing Asami.
He grabbed some toast and held it in his mouth, asami giggled and he whiped around in surprise
"Gotta make sure you brush that hair out tobio-chan! " she laughed
His whole face turned red and he looked to his mom his eyes wide
"Why didn't you tell me she was here!? " he asked flusteredly
"Well it's not like you would have come down here faster! " his mom commented holding back a laugh
"Mhm I would've! " he argued back
Asami giggled and stood up
"Well should we head out to school? " she asked walking towards the door.
"Yeah. See you later mom. " he said, the last part a little bitter.
"Alright love you my little crow! Have fun at school! " Mrs kageyama called from the kitchen, almost deliberately trying to embarrass her son.
"MOM I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT ANYMORE! " tobio yelled his whole face redder than the apples on the counter.
Asami covered her mouth as she giggled while putting her shoes on. Tobio whacked her head as she giggled
"Oh shut up! " he grumbled
"Alright... Little crow. " she added opening the door and running down the side walk.
"ASAMIIIIIIII! " he yelled putting his shoes on and following after her trying to catch up.
"I'M GONNA TELL EVERYONE YOUR NICKNAME!! " she yelled playfully jumping over a lift in the side walk.
"AGH! " he yelled and there was a crash noise, when she looked back he was on the side walk by the lift.
'OH SHOOT DID HE TRIP AND HURT HIMSELF!? ' she thought running over
"Tobio-chan are you ok!? " she asked sticking her hand out to help him up, but when he looked up he was smiling
"Huh? " she mumbled as he then grabbed her arm and pulled her down onto the floor
"Ha! Gotcha! Now I won't let you up till you promise to not tell anyone. " he demanded triumphantly, sitting on her back.
"Tobio-channnn let me goooooooo! " she yelled squirming under him.
"Not until you promise! " he repeated
"Fine! I promise!" She growled
"Promise to what? " he asked
"I promise to not tell anyone about your nickname! " she gasped as his weight was crushing her.
He got up and helped her up the both of them laughing
"So want to come watch the practice game today after school? " tobio asked as they walked
"Oh, I would like to, but Oikawa asked me to go to the mall with him after school, sorry. " she apologized
His whole mood shifted, it was dark and angry.
"I'm sorry I'll cancel with him-" she begun
"No, don't. You have fun, alright? " he said walking a little faster.
"But-" she said but was cut off
"Alright!? " he asked again.
"Alright... " she sighed
"ASAMI-SAN!! KAGEYAMA! " came the high pitched voice of hinata.
"How about you talk with the shrimp, I'll make my way to school by myself. " he said bitterly before walking off.
She frowned and looked back at hinata who was running up go her.
"Where's kageyama going? " hinata asked tilting his head like a puppy.
"He's upset.. But don't worry about it, we'll be fine. " she said smiling at the red head.
"ARE YOU GUYS GONNA BREAK UP!!? " he gasped looking at her
"What!? We weren't even dating! " she said waving her hands in front of her.
"Oh, ok. Well we're at school, so I'll see you later! " he said running off towards his classes.
She sighed and started walking towards her classroom. "Goodness... Sometimes it's like walking on egg shells with tobio... I hope he isn't to mad at me.. Maybe he will get over it? Yeah he will..hopefully.."she mumbled not realize she was actually speaking.
"What are you rambling on about Suzuki? " tsukishima asked, the bean pole looking down at her.
"Oh- I said that out loud?" She said her eyes widening
"Sure did! " yamaghuci said "we heard every word! " he added before tsukishima nudged him
"Sorry tsuki-" yamaghuci apologized
"So what's wrong with you and kageyama. " tsukishima asked blankly
"It's none of your business. " she grumbled and started walking away but they followed besides her, tsukishima on her right and yamaghuci on her left
"Someones feeling sassy today. " tsukishima sneered
"Yeah be all happy go lucky like usual! " yamaghuci chimed in.
"Your one to talk tsukishima. " she grumbled
"Ha! You like that huh tsuki! " yamaghuci laughed
"Shut up. " he demanded
Asami shook her head and walked into class sitting down at her seat. She couldn't wait till the day was over.
Lunch
Asami opened her pouch and looked around for her lunch, when she remembered leaving it on the counter.
She groaned and sloched over her desk moping like a toddler.
"What's got you groaning about Suzuki? "Don't call me Suzuki just call me by my name. " Asami grumbled
"Sure Asami, anyways what are you having a fit over? " tsukishima asked looking at her.
"I forgot my lunch. " she sighed her stomach grumbling.
"Well I'll share some of my left over beef and rice with you, if you agree to stop whining. " tsukishima said
"Yes please! " she said
"Here use these, my mom gave me two chopsticks for some reason. " he said handing over some chop sticks.
She grinned and ate with him.
After she ate her fill she smiled and thanked her classmate.
"Don't expect me to do this for you again alright? " tsukishima said packing his lunch up
"Gotcha! " she chirped standing up about to go visit tobios classroom, before remembering he was upset with her...
She sat back down and couldn't help frowning, she hated it when people were mad at her, especially when it was tobio-chan.
After school
She walked down the pathway to the gate, she had gotten a glimpse of tobio, but she was to... To scared.. To say anything to him.
She caught the bus to the mall and waited for Oikawa.
"Oh you came in your uniform! " a the charming voice of oikawa sounded as he walked up to her smiling.
"Yeah, guess I didn't really feel like going home and changing you know. " she laughed
"Well it looks cute on you, though I still wish you were wearing my school colors. " he said
"Yeah but I couldn't leave tobio-chan, you know that Oikawa senpai. " she sighed as they walked into the mall.
"You make it sound like a bad thing Sami-Chan. Are you guys fighting or something? " he asked.
Wow, he's still good at reading situations, just like middle school...
"Not really.. He just got mad I was meetimg you today, that's all. " she said reassuringly.
"Anyways you know tobio-chan, he's my best friend, he wouldn't stay mad at me for long. " she added
"It sounds like your just saying that to convince yourself Sami-Chan. " oikawa said briskly.
Stunned by his words her mouth gapped open a little.
"Anyways have you made any new friends? " he asked window shopping.
"Well, not really... Well I am friends with hinata, but besides tobio-chan I'm alone. " she said.
"Well you also have me! " oikawa added
"Yeah... " she nodded, he grabbed her hand and pulled her into a store, her heart jumped as he smiled back at her with that same old charming grin...
'God.. He hasn't changed since middle school... '
