Early morning, had no sleep
Eyebugs growing, getting deep
Imagining the horrorific sound of a bell
Oh baby, come save me, I'm on my highway to hell!
Arrived in time, I'm entering the gate
What a tragedy, a horrible fate!
I sighed and walked towards my daily destination
With the speed of a snail, I need teleportation
Scientific headaches greets me with glee
What's up with English, Math and History?!
What was once a horror is now a bliss
The ringing of the bell is what I miss...
Eerie silence dawns within the room
As we await the upcoming doom
The devil's spawn raises her hand
And directs to me a question that I dread
Oh dear God, I think my brain just descended to the dead!
Ring! Ring! Ring! Yes, freedom from the devil's den!
Now I'm climbing up the stairways to Heaven
There I met the devil's spawn
Yet for some unknown reason,
In the light of all good, as an angel, she shone.
The bell rang till my ears gone deaf
And finally, I took a breath
I successfully escaped my death
Wouldn't want any tears to be shed
With a smile that can outshine the sun
I exit, head home and start the fun
Then out of the blue, someone meddles and says,
"What are you doing? Stop this at once. You better sleep early, my dear.
For the sun will come back, starting another day to face your fear."
Nothing lasts forever
But my smile could have been...
If only I could sleep in a bed of roses
Not in a bed of beans...

[[Author's note.. or maybe it should be Poet's note? haha idk. anyways, NO OFFENSE. I dont have anything against teachers or the school. Its just my way of well, writing. And like I said up there, I only fear teachers when they're inside the classroom, all strict but outside they're all friendly so I dont have anything against them. School may sometimes be a disaster but its fun with friends. So anyways, hope you liked the poem. ^-^]]
