It was April 11, which fell on a monday and the year was 2011 as it was 3:30 pm and in Miami Beach, a city in the state of Florida aka The Sunshine State with beaches and across from Miami Beach was Miami with bridges that connect Miami Beach to Mainland Miami. Miami Beach is also known for it's early 20th century architecture in the Art Deco District on Ocean Drive, the most popular street in the city and when night falls, it lights up the Art Deco District.

On the northwest corner of 5th Street and Meridian Avenue, there was a building and pulling into the building's parking lot was a black Escalade and at the wheel was a heavyset woman around 44 with brown hair and green eyes named Abby Lee Miller, who is a dance teacher and in the front seat was a boy around 9 with brown hair and identical green eyes named Cooper Miller, who is Abby's son.

"Ready to head in, sweetie?" Abby asked her son.

"Ready when you are." Cooper replied.

The two got out of the escalade and approached a building that had the words Abby Lee Dance Company, the name of the building which meant that it's a dance studio and it's owned by Abby as Cooper went to the door and opened it to let Abby enter first, then he entered next and the inside of the building had a front desk, which had walls that were painted red with a fountain across from the desk and it also had a computer and calendar and on the left, there was a hallway that led to the bathrooms and the door that was on the end was Abby's office and in it was a sofa, desk, computer and four chairs. The door next to the front desk led into a foyer which had a vending machine, a staircase that led to an observation room and three doors, the left door led into Studio B, one of the three studio rooms, the door next to the staircase led into the Dancer's Den, which was where dancers hang out in between classes and rehearsals and the door on the right led into Studio A, the biggest studio room of the Abby Lee Dance Company and it had three doors like the foyer that led into Studio A, Studio B and Studio C, which is the third studio room. Studio A had a mirror with gold brick wall and it had the ALDC logo on there, Studio B had a mirror, silks and a mirror with a silver brick wall with the word "ALDC" in graffiti style and Studio C, which had a red wall and white brick wall with the ALDC logo in red on it and the observation deck had red benches and it gave views of the studio rooms and at the front desk was a young woman around 21 with brown hair with a mix of blonde named Gianna Martello, who is Abby's assistant choreographer.

"Hello, Abby. Hello, Coop." Gianna said.

"Hi, Gia." Abby and Cooper responded as Cooper went over to the front desk and hugged Gianna, who hugged him back. "How's it going?

"It's going good, just ready for a new week." Abby commented.

"What she said." Cooper added, then he headed to the Dancer's Den to get ready.

Minutes later, Cooper was in Studio A decked out in a tanktop and shorts sitting on the ground with 7 girls named Maddie Ziegler, Mackenzie Ziegler, Chloe Lukasiak, Nia Frazier, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland and Brooke Kosinski aka Brookie, the girls are dancers for Abby and with them were their mothers Melissa Ziegler, Christi Lukasiak, Holly Frazier, Kelly Hyland and Hollie Kosinski.

"Phoenix was really rough." Abby stated. "You got your butts kicked and you've won everything, but when it comes to traveling on a plane across the country, it's a different story. For years, i took the kids by myself, i made sure their hair and makeup were right, made sure the headpiece was on, but nowadays, the moms want to go as they're revisiting their childhoods through you and that is where trouble happens. I'm the leader and teacher, you do what i say and when your mother is telling you something else to do, it becomes a conflict, get that?"

The girls nodded, Cooper did as well but he knew that since Abby is his mother and dance teacher as the moms looked at Abby.

"Nia." Abby turned to Nia. "How do you think you did?"
