When the Casey's ex boyfriend comes running in casey jumps up and trying to get some space from the guy

Casey was a little to slow tho. The guy grab Casey's arm and pulls Casey's neck into his hand and lifts him up coming him

Severide then come up from behind and pulls the guy into a choke hold. That forces him him let go of casey.
Casey falls to the ground holding his throat
Casey was trying to get his head straight but it was all spinning.

After a few minutes cops came in and arrested the guy

Apparently one of the neighbors saw the man attacking casey. When everything was dealt with they both went back to the coach and cuddled

Severide demanded casey to let God look at his throat
