Dr. Eggman: Emperor Palpatine, the all powerful galaxy conquering Sith Lord.

Bowser: And Master Xehanort, the Keyblade Master of darkness.

Dr. Wily: Despite their old age these two have proven to be the most powerful villains in their respective universes thanks to their intelligence and manipulating skills and are responsible for the events of their series.

Bowser: But what happens if these two powerful old guys clash? Their Eggman and Wily and I'm Bowser.

Dr. Eggman: And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Emperor Palpatine

Dr. Eggman: In a galaxy far far away the question we ask is what consumes the thoughts of a Sith Lord? What is their dream in life with the Dark Side of the Force? In Palpatine's case his one goal is conquering the galaxy.

Bowser: Yeah this guy is got some major Marvel and DC villain energy all over him.

Dr. Wily: Born as the eldest son of the Palpatine family on the planet Naboo, Palpatine's life was not so great. He was despised his father, who viewed him as a weakling and a coward, expelled from school, and made a car accident that killed two people.

Bowser: Damn talk about a shit life. His heart was in despair until the day he discovered the Dark Side of the Force.

Dr. Eggman: This discovery would led Palpatine to obtain power for years to come so he trained under a powerful Sith named Darth Plagueis the Wise, a Sith Lord who was a master of arcane and unnatural knowledge.

Dr. Wily: Also side note while these are Legends comics and are technology non canon we'll still use them for our source for analysis. Though true Star Wars fans would definitely consider it canon. Anyway as time went on Palpatine became more and more interested in the Dark Side of the Force and wanted more and more power despite having more than enough already.

Bowser: So Palps did what any power hungry war lord would did: Kill his father and family as vengeance for the resentment, kill his master after going through training that was now "unnecessary", and kill every Jedi in the galaxy.

Dr. Eggman: And thus Palpatine would be none other than Darth Sidious.
