Ready to close the service, Tails sings a song for Sonic. It is a beautiful monody, capturing their adventures and his friendships.
Sonic is astonished.
He wants to relieve everyone, he wants them to notice— He is still here. He wants to tell them, but— He still hears everyone, but no one can see him. He can still see everyone, but no one can hear him. "Guys, I'm still here! Please—", he finally yells at the top of his lungs, tears forming in his eyes. "S-Sonic?", Amy mutters. "Did anyone hear that?", Espio suddenly asks. Slowly, some start to look around, until everyone does. "Is this my imagination? No, of course not.", Shadow thinks.
Eventually, everyone finds him. Relieved, he explains what happened.
