Hey guys! So thanks for reading my story. I want to give a shout out to @ZaZaaug . She is very nice to talk to, and she a supporter of this fandom/story.

Nurses file in the room as Ansel held my hand tightly.

I yell in pain as contractions kick in faster and faster.

"Ansel," I say through the pain.

"Yeah?"

"We aren't having anymore children." I say. "And thats- that's a promise." I lie on my side, letting the barrier of the railing on the bed keep me from cradling in ball on the floor. "AHH!"

Nurse Kleen checks off clipboards trying to talk to me. "Shailene, rate the pain from one to ten."

"100." I groaned. "WHY CANT I JUST HAVE HER NOW?!"

"Shai the last time you were dilated was an hour ago, and you are at 6 right now." She snapped on white gloves. "Epidural?"

I stare at Ansel. "Yes. please."

14 hours into labor

I moaned and groaned in pain, frustrated. Ansel soothed me with his sweet talk.

Dr. Kleen sat in front of me. "Who's ready to have a baby?"

I pushed for more than 3 hours. Sweat dripped from my face like water. All I could think about was belle. Will she live?

Belle weighed 3 Ibs. 18 oz. A smile tugged on Ansels face. I sat back in the bed exhausted. My Mom got a chance to hold her, so did my Dad.

"What's her name?" Mom asked.

"Belle." I say. "Belle Kayleigh Elgort."

"Beautiful!" Dr. Kleen says swaddling Belle. "She has the eyes of her mother, and father."

Belle later that night started having complications. Doctors began to check back and forth on her brain scans. The tumor wasn't fully developed. Ever since she was born, her breathing would come to a sudden stop.

I glance over at her machine, waking from deep sleep. Her chest wasn't moving up and down. I scream for help like a mad man. Dr. Kleen rushes in with nurses behind her.

"She wasn't breathing." I say shakingly. "Why isn't she breathing?"

Dr. Kleen checked her heartbeat. "She's going into shock. Let's book an O.R." She tells the other doctors.

And there I was. Lying there. I couldn't do a damn thing about it.
