"are you sure about this?", soyeon's mother asked.

"yes, mother", you said while packing your things.

"you don't have to fulfill that promise of yours."

i sighed, "mother, i've told you many times that my old self wanted to do this before i become 19."

"why would you even promise to be a maid just like your nanny."

"i adored her job. i knew it was hard but i had fun working and doing those."

i took some shoes and placed it inside my suitcase.

"well, goodluck! hopefully the person your working for doesn't recognize you."

"don't worry, mother. heeseung told me that he doesn't know anything about me.", i smiled at her.

she smiled back and watched me leave.

"goodbye, soyeon! don't work too hard and please resign if you can't do it anymore."

it was summer.

i didn't have any classes so i fulfilled the promise i made.

which is obviously being a maid.

i had 2 months to work there then i'll resign since my classes will start.

i looked outside and admired the view.

there were trees and flowers everywhere.

it was 8 pm and i had to go to the house i'll be working at.

it was dark and all i could see were the lights of the buildings nearby.

i reached the destination.

i was dropped off a street away from the building.

i was guessing it wasn't a house.

it ended up being an apartment but a big one.

each apartment had 3 floors which made the building tall.

i walked inside the building and there was strict security.

they the apartment and someone answered.

they finally let me in.

i walked to the elevator and pressed the number 60 which was the penthouse.

damn, he was rich.

i had to put in a card before i could press the number.

i placed in the card they have given me in the entrance.

i finally pressed 60 on the glass panel and waited.

i heared and ding and saw a man heading towards the elevator.

is that heeseung??

"heeseung?", i asked him.

"oh soyeon! i just moved in today. i forgot to inform you!", he said while scratching his nape.

"i see~", i said while placing a smile on my face.

he smiled back while texting someone on his phone.

"heeseungie~ is that aeri?", i said while smirking at him.

"w-what?? no~", he said while having a pout on his face.

"oh really??", i raised my eyebrows.

he chuckled, "oh shut up!"

*ding*

"ahh!! gotta go soyeoniee~ i love youu!"

"okay~! i love you too!"

i smiled back and he smiled back before leaving my sight.

the elevator door closed.

i waited patiently once again.

i got out of the elevator.

there was a hallway where the walls were glass.

i walked further and was leaded to a door.

i rang the doorbell and a male opened the door.

"ah! you must be song soyeon. please come in.", he said calmy.

i walked inside the apartment and admired it.

there was tons of chandeliers and white furniture.

the view was also amazing.

you can see the trees from below.

the male directed me to a seat.

i sat down and he grabbed some items.

"so, this is your schedule. please don't be late or early. make sure to do it on time."

he handed me a schedule.

i scanned the given schedule.
