As she exits her train to enter the city she got transferred to, the nostalgia of the familiar environment made her giddy

She was nervous, but excited to come back, to meet old friends and acquaintances, and to work at her old office

Utahime clutches the handle of her luggage, she exits the train station with a smile

She texts Shoko to pick her up and approaches a bench to sit. She sighs as the exhaustion of travel had finally gotten to her

Utahime pulls out her phone to entertain her before a text from Shoko makes her eyes light up

Shoko was there. Utahime rushed outside and immediately ran to Shoko as she saw her

"Someone's excited" Shoko says and laughs after Utahime proceeded to hug her

"You weren't?"

"I'm kidding, but honestly, I'm so excited you're back girl~" She says before getting Utahime's luggage

As they both enter the car, Utahime sighs and closes her eyes for a bit

"Tired?" Shoko asks before turning the engine on "Yeah a bit, but not that much" Utahime says before opening her eyes back open

"So... How's everything?" Utahime asks with a smile "You're saying that like I'm not texting you daily" Shoko chuckles

"Yeah but it's not like we talk about our lives that much" Utahime responds "Okay... It's been great" Shoko says

"I'm now the head of the clinic" Shoko says with a bit of a squeal while Utahime looks at her with surprise

"How am I only hearing this now? That's so good, congrats" Utahime says and Shoko looks at her with a smile

"Ok... how about you though, anything I need to know?" Shoko asks and Utahime sighs

"It's also been pretty good, I became a team leader, which you know, and they were considering making me branch manager" Shoko looks at her in confusion

"Why did they transfer you here then?" Shoko asks "If you were going to become branch manager, why would they transfer you?" Utahime nods, it was also very confusing for her

"I got beat out of the race to be branch manager, and they didn't want my potential to go to waste.." Shoko nods

"So they're going to experiment with me being co-manager here in Tokyo" Shoko smiles at her before parking at her apartment

"That's great, but was there no co-managereal spot at Kyoto?" Utahime shook her head

"Co-manager is only a thing here at Tokyo, so they transferred me here" Utahime nods before exiting the car

"That's a huge opportunity for you though" Shoko says after Utahime exits her car

"Yeah it is, but it's who I'm working for that's not the best" Shoko looks at her with confusion

"Who?" Utahime sighs while getting her luggage "Gojo" Utahime says with a bit of a gag. Shoko looks at her and laughs

"Why are you laughing?" Shoko stops "Well because you hate him" Shoko starts laughing again

"Stop laughing at my misery" Shoko stops laughing before approaching her door and opens it

"But it's funny, how the world has partnered your amazing opportunity with a really bad consequence" Shoko chuckles before bringing Utahime's luggage to her room

"So you'll stay here for a while?"

"Yeah for a bit, until I find a good apartment" Shoko nods before plopping onto her couch

"It's funny the reason they wanted me to be the co-manager"

"Why?"

"Because he's a prodigy in terms of leading and doing sales, but was a bit too outgoing and fun. So they needed someone who was more strict" Utahime chuckled

"Who would've guessed he was good at leading" Utahime shook her head "Gojo is terrible at a lot of things, being a leader is not one of them"

Shoko looked at her in confusion, she never knew he was a good leader, even though they're pretty close friends

"Really?"

"Yup... He was my team leader 4 years ago, and he was surprisingly great as a leader and teacher"

"I would've never guessed" Utahime nods as she grabs an apple from the fruit basket
