Third POV

"Sheesh, it's like the return of the Jedi all over again. Just with less storm troopers." Benny said. He and Ethan had just walked into the room where a blood drove was being held. "My mom thinks that I should donate. Says my blood is special. If ya ask me, that's why I should keep it where it belongs. In my veins." Ethan said. "Dude, your mom has to say that. She's your mom. Plus the only reason you won't donate is because your scared of needles." Benny laughed. "I'm not scared of them." Ethan defended. "I just don't like them." He added on weakly.

"Yea, the same way you don't like the commercial with the dancing crackers!" Benny said doing a stupid dance. "Freaks you out!" Ethan made a noise in the back of his throat. "I don't see you rushing into either of those chairs." Ethan said, calling out the hypocrisy. "Uh, duh. They could get my entire genetic code from one drop of blood." He said. "I don't need any clones of me running around." He said. "Trust me. No one needs or wants that." Ethan said with a chuckle. "You're reason is still worse. Chicken." Benny smiled. "Am not!" Ethan defended.

"I'm a hawk! With razor sharp talons and laser eyes." He said. Just as we looked at the nurses, the younger one pulled the cap off of a needle and Ethan got weak in the knees. "I just need to talk to Sarah first." He said and made his way to the dark skinned vamp who had a large bag of chips in her hand and was munching away desperately. A hand covered his face to keep the sight needles away from him. "Hey, Sarah. How's it going?" He asked just to try to make conversation. "Oh, you know." She said, clearly distracted by the sight and smell of blood. "You ok?" He asked, this time genuinely worried. "Yea, fine!"! She exclaimed. "You sure? You have like half a bag of chips on your face." Sarah sighed and wiped her face.

"I'm more worried about Olivia and your girlfriend." She said. "Hey, why?" He asked. "You know why." She said making Ethan nod and scratch his neck. "You know how little control she has without you around and even then it's hard. I just don't want her do anything stupid." She said. Ethan nodded in understanding. "I get it. Don't worry, I'll keep an eye out for her." He said. Sarah nodded and went back to her munching while Ethan walked back to Benny. "She ok?" The taller boy asked pointing at the slightly panicked Sarah. "Yea, she's scarfing down junk food to dull the hunger. We'll have to keep an eye on her. As well as our other fanged friends."

"Including your girlfriend?" Benny asked. Ethan gave him a look. "Sorry, sorry." The wizard said putting up his hands in a surrendering way. "If anything goes wrong we have to save the nurses, I call that one!" Benny exclaimed pointing to the younger one. "Called it." He muttered while Ethan shook his head. He looked back and saw that Sarah had left, but Erica was there talking to Rory. "Uh-oh. She never talks to him unless I'm around." He said.

"I'm gonna try to get closer." Ethan started to walk over when Erica uncapped a needle and Ethan, being Ethan, dropped like a sack of rocks. Erica looked down, a sneer already on her face, but it was quickly replaced with worry and fear when she saw that it was her brown haired boyfriend. "Ethan!?" She yelled and instantly kneeled down to check on him. Benny looked at the scene, at first impressed at what Ethan had done, then he was confused at Erica's reaction then realization. Benny walked over and tapped an annoyed Erica on the shoulder. Why was she annoyed? The younger nurse had also decided to check on Ethan and apparently she didn't appreciate the other blonde fussing over her boyfriend.

"Come on, Erica." He said. "Let's get him to the nurses office. He won't be waking up anytime soon." He said. The two picked up Ethan and walked away.

In the Nurses Office

Ethan groaned as he woke up in the bed of the nurses office. The smell of hand sanitizer filling his nose. His eyes opened and his sight was immediately covered by the worried glare of his girlfriend. He blinked a few times at the sudden appearance of her turquoise eyes and almost wished he was blinded by the bright lights.

"You're scared of NEEDLES!!!??" She yelled in frustration. "Uh, no?" He asked timidly. "How could I never know this?! I prided myself on knowing everything about you! No, wait. How could you never tell me!" She yelled accusingly. Ethan sat up and saw as Benny walked up to the door way. "Sorry man. She had to know." He said with a shrug. Ethan got up and closed the door in his face. "Ow! My nose!" The spell caster yelled in pain. "Shut up!" Ethan yelled back. "Hello!" Erica said. "I'm not scared of them. I just don't like them." He said.

"You fainted." She shot back. Ethan opened his mouth, but nothing came out. "Ok, fair enough." He said as he deflated. "Ethan, babe. How are you going to date a vampire that openly eats humans with a fear of needles?" She asked. "I don't know, but I've been making it work so I don't see the issue." He said. "You don't scare me." Ethan hugged her. "I don't?" She asked vulnerably. "No. In fact I find the fangs and eyes kinda sexy." He said. "Oh really?" She asked, gaining a smile. "Mhm, I know you wouldn't hurt me so I have no reason to be scared." He smiled back. Erica nodded. "Good, now what were you and Rory talking about?" The blonde froze. "Um, nothing." She said innocently. "Erica." Ethan pressed.

"Ok, we might've been talking about a plan to steal the blood from the blood truck." She said. "Erica!" Ethan exclaimed. "I'm sorry." She drawled. Not really meaning it. "Who knows about your little plan now?" Ethan asked. "By now? Rory has explained whatever he's come up with to Livia." She said. "You're not stealing anything, first kf all." Ethan said firmly. "What?! But..." Ethan cut her off with a searing kiss. Erica's toes curled and her eyes fluttered close. He then  pulled back.

"You're not stealing anything." He said again and Erica nodded with a dopey grin on his face. "Good. Now, we need to go stop the other two." He said and walked out the door. Erica followed soon after him, her expression screaming 'I'm on cloud nine' and a very floaty feeling in her head.
