when he injured himself during rehearsal for the online concert next day
"Okay, we'll be practicing Blue and Grey then black swan now" the stage director announced .
The boys nodded and went into their positions. You were sat at the side of the stage watching your boyfriend rehearse with his members. It was pretty cold now since it had already turned dark but you had Taehyung's hoodie on to keep you warm. Whenever they had short breaks, he would rush to you and sit beside you to converse with you while he wait for the next practice.
The music changed from Blue and Grey to Black Swan and they started their amazing performance. Suddenly, you saw your boyfriend on the ground causing the other dancers to crowd around him.
"Yah! Taehyungie fell, need help" Jin said through the microphone and the staff with a first aid kit went straight to the scene.
You were going to follow them to Taehyung but knowing that you would only get in the way, you decided to stay and watch what happened from here. You saw Taehyung trying to get back up on his feet with the help of the other members and dancers.
"I'm okay, i'm okay" he said showing a thumbs up but he was limping.
"I don't think you should continue, do you feel any pain?" the first aider asked.
He just pointed to his calf and tried stretching it but immediately feeling the pain.
"Taehyung will take a rest" Namjoon announced and they all nodded and went back to their positions while Taehyung was being assisted to go backstage.
When he was nearing you, he just smiled playfully knowing you were probably worried.
"Yah!! What happened?" you said as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder.
"I don't know, I felt a sharp pain in my calves and just fell" he said.
"I think we should get it checked out in case there are any serious injuries" his manager said.
They then brought him to the nearest hospital and you followed along. After the doctor has checked on his injury, he recommended to let Taehyung rest for at least a week and to avoid any vigorous movements on his legs.
"But previously, I didn't feel any pain. Maybe this is just in the moment" Taehyung said clearly upset that he probably could not perform for the fans tomorrow.
"It could be just in the moment thing but we do not want to take risks as it may lead to a more serious injury," the doctor replied.
"Okay, thank you doctor. We will take the necessary precautions." his manager said.
They went back to the stadium to discuss with the rest of the members who had just finished their rehearsals.
"So Taehyung cannot perform tomorrow. It was advised by the doctor that he should not do any vigorous movements on his legs. So he will not be dancing tomorrow. The choreography won't be much different, just perform as per normal but without Taehyung's part" the manager briefed the guys.
As you were watching their discussion, you could tell how upset and disappointed Taehyung was that he could not perform for the fans tomorrow.
"Tomorrows soundcheck will be at 3pm, live. We will practice more tomorrow morning at 8.30 so be here by 8am"
After they have finished their debrief; they were all allowed to go back home.
Concert Day
"I'm so disappointed" Taehyung mumbled as he was getting his in ears worn for the live soundcheck.
