Dragons and Two Bakas
I didn't tell Natsu what had happened on the train.
There was no reason too.
The train had stopped before the guards had come. Natsu was still pretty out of it to notice the dead body. I considered that a plus.
Natsu and I made it to the hotel that we would be staying at. We got separate rooms and once we had put our stuff away. We decided to get something to eat before we headed to the town.
Natsu and I found a nice diner that was outside. We found a table that was under some shade and sat down. As our food arrived at out table, voices rose up, and Natsu's body stiffened. I cocked my head at him and listened to what the voices were saying.
"Dragons?" One man asked another in disbelief.
"Yay, I heard there were plenty of 'em not to long ago." The other said.
"I don't believe you. There's no way."
"It don't matter anyway. All the Dragons are dead and gone."
"Ha, good riddance I say."
My eyes landed on Natsu, who's body was still rigid. Without warning he stood up and stalked off. Mira's words came flooding back to me. 'Natsu was raised by a Dragon named, Igneel. One day Igneel, along with all the other Dragons, disappeared. Natsu was left behind and he still doesn't know what happened to Igneel. The scarf that he always wears is the last thing Igneel gave to him. He's still looking though. I think its sweet. Don't you?'
My eyes darted to the two men who were still laughing. I slowly lifted myself up and walked over to them. One of the men noticed me and hit his friend's shoulder. The friend turned and saw me as well. As I neared they both smiled at me. I rolled my eyes. I slammed my hand onto their table, which caused them to jump. "Oi, lady, what are you-"
I slammed the palm of my hand against the man's chest and he flew out of his seat. He hit the ground with a breathless gasp. I spun to the other man and hit my balled up hand against the side of his head. With a pained yell he joined his friend on the ground.
With a push of my hand I jumped over the table. I landed above their moaning and groaning body's. I crouched down to their pathetic level and narrowed my eyes at both of them.
"W-why?" Groaned one man.
"What did we do?" Moaned the other.
I frowned at the both of them and cocked my head lazily at them.
"You made my friend sad. It ticked me off."
I said simply as I stood up. As I made my way out of the diner place, ignoring all the stares, I stopped, and looked over my shoulder at the men. "Don't talk badly about the Dragons anymore. My friend was raised by one."
I left.
'I think its cute. Don't you?'
Yay, Mira, I think it's cute.

I found Natsu leaning against a building with his eyes closed a few yards away from the diner. I wondered if he had heard the fight I had with those two bakas?
When he heard me near he opened up an eye and kicked off the wall. "Freya-" He started but I raised up a hand to stop him. I took a breath and looked away.
"I know. Those bakas were talking shit about the Dragons." I closed my eyes and ran a hand through my hair. "Mira told me about you and...your Dragon." I sighed and crossed my arms over my chest. "Sorry about taking your scarf." I muttered. "I know how much it means to you..." I said the last part under my breath. When he didn't answer I looked up to see him smiling at me. He went up to my side and laid an arm over my shoulders. My shoulders locked up and my eyes darted to him. "Thanks, Fey."
I looked away and muttered a 'sure'. With his arm still around my shoulders we began to walk. The sun was still high in the sky as we made our way toward the town where we were supposed to talk to the people and defeat the Shape Shifter. Only when we got there...there was no one there.
