Desperately I clung to life and light,
Desperately I call your name in the darkness of night,
But you run and plead your case-
That death is much preferable to your taste;
"Warmer to embrace."
How do I wage with such a thought-
Show you that sorrow; is all death has brought?
Show you that life is near and kind.
