I'm Alright

While Matthew tended to my scars, he told me a lot about Wynn's family. Damian had contacted the "Luninensce" family and sent Matthew who went under an alias as a healer.

Matthew is the eldest of 3, soon to be 4 siblings. He had a great mastery of healing spells and storm magic. The second born turned out to be Wynn, and by Matthew's tone and body language I could say Wynn's the gentle and caring older brother.

Instead of competing for the throne, Wynn decided to be Matthew's advisor to which Matthew complained till this very day. Talking about how he was bored to not have any competition for the throne and all. Wynn mastered in crystal magic, earning the title "Everglow Gem of Castral".

Another interesting fact, Wynn hadn't shown up in public for a long time. The last time his citizens saw him was during his graduation which dated 2 years back.

Third and currently last child, is a 17 year old scholar named Farmis. From Matthew's stories Farmis is studying medicine and herbs in an academy in Divenrion, an allied kingdom with Castral.

We were separated by a 2 year age gap, which made Matthew a 21 year old. That's a little too young to be a king. I'm betting my nonexistent silver coins that the dad's a dilf hehe~

Furthermore, since Wynn decided to be Matthew's advisor I would need to help him with some matters. Since sometimes I work as a teacher assistant, I could say that as an advisor I would only need to stop him from making rash decisions and help with his paperwork.

This brother of mine was smart enough to bring some paperwork for me to help with!

It was already sunset when we stopped the migraine inducing reading. Matthew heaved a heavy sigh, slumping on my stomach while I was obliged to watch the stars come out.

The man on my stomach had his neatly parted hair sprawled out, his slight squirms indicating his discomfort. I reached a hand to his autumn locks before hesitating.

What am I doing? This is a complete stranger, yet I feel the need to comfort him..

I sighed audibly before finally coming in contact with soft locks of hair. I gently rustled it before finding the place where migraines usually are felt and massaged it.

Matthew visibly relaxed, leaning more of his upper body on the bed. I stifled a laugh, averting my eyes to the rainbow gradient sky. Rainbow sunsets are very much a rare sight even in this world. It wouldn't last as long as a normal sunset, it was incredibly beautiful as well. And I would agree with the people, it indeed is a beautiful sight.

Silence draped over us, a comforting silence. This reminds me of my sister. I wonder how she is. Is she pushing herself to the bone again? Or is she crying herself to sleep?

I shook the awful thoughts away, knowing that deep down I would break into tears. I continued looking out the now dark sky, my hand stopping its movement yet resting on his head.

I felt myself getting tired, obediently succumbing into the abyss.

Sounds of birds chirping woke me from my sleep. I cracked one of my eyes open, seeing that instead of Matthew by the bed it was Linda. Averting from her I saw Damian sleeping opposite of her, hand grasping my own.

"You're awake.", I stiffened at the sudden hoarse voice, quickly looking for the source. My eyes landed on Tristan who was sitting by the window, more like on it.

He unhurriedly pulled his dangling leg from there and strode towards me. "Ah.. Neptune..", I feigned worry, a frown appearing on my face as I crunched my brows.

"He is currently being treated. You have nothing to worry of, worry for yourself first Wynn.", he lightly ruffled my hair, his eyes shining while he kept his stoic face.

I knew Neptune was fine already. Matthew told me about the progress between the week long coma I experienced. And plus, I could've used one of my shadow beings to visit them for me.

I felt Damian tighten his hold on my hand, lolling his head from looking down to my face. I noticed that although he looked peaceful there were not so visible creases that made him look serious.

"I was out for a week, I presume.", Tristan nodded by my words. "Did I worry you three a lot? I'm sorry for being so reckless..", I scratched my cheek as a nervous giggle left me.

Tristan's facial expression faltered a little, his lips quirking into a small smile as he sat beside Linda. "You need to apologize to Damian specifically. He had seen you in your worst, I believe he was the most worried.", Tristan droned, propping his arm on the bed for him to rest on.

I cracked a smile at the ravennette, feeling a sense of security overcoming me.

"Ah! The healer.. He said about Damian being restless and always insisting on accompanying me. Is it true?", I inquired curiously, tilting my head to lure Tristan in.

"The healer? Yes, Damian had continuously insisted to sleep in your room but was rejected by him. It is of course due to the standard procedure of healing treatment.", I nodded at his words, glad to know Damian was that worried.

"Now let us see how long it takes for these sleeping beauties to wake up and realize I was awake this whole time~", I wickedly smiled, a gremlin laugh coming out of my throat.

Tristan could only shake his head in amusement as I messed with the two. Linda especially was my favorite target.

In the end when they woke up I was scolded harshly by Damian for my reckless decision and violating them. It was worth seeing Linda fuss about her messily braided hair though~
