Cole pulled up to the company to park outside the office. I unbuckled my seat belt as he turned the car off and slipped out. I started to slip out when my phone went off out of nowhere. Once my phone was in hand I saw it was that dumb man calling me again. God, why can't he get the hint I am not selling the property period.

I hit the green button and asked "How many times have I told you to leave me alone Mr. Blake?"

"Probably thirty but I didn't get where I was without being persistent Miss."

"Your persistence is getting annoying" I growled as my door opened up. Cole held his hand out making me grab my purse and take his hand in mine. He helped me out and leaned in to get my coat. He was draping it over my shoulders as I added "My property is my property now leave me alone Mr. Blake."

"Please Miss this could do wonders for your towns..."

"I said no" I growled as Cole gently nudged me away from the car. Once I was he shut my door and grabbed my hand to lead me inside. I blushed as the people looked at me with hatred or envy and Cole got the same looks. It was surprising I thought as he said "Look Miss these houses could do wonders for your small town."

Cole hit the elevator door as I said "This property has been in my family for generations and some developer who wants to destroy it will not get the property. The land is full of forest for a reason. I have plans for it myself and you making money is not one Mr. Blake...If I find out you have even taken a step on that property I will have you arrested for trespassing."

"Miss please."

We walked into the elevator which was empty thankfully because I yelled "NO!" Cole pulled me to his chest making me look up at him with an innocent look. He smiled and caress my cheek as Mr. Blake said "Fine I will find another way..."

I pushed off Cole and yelled"WHAT? How dare you threaten me and my land?! I own that land period and you will have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers, Mr. Blake." My floor came but as I went to go out Cole stopped me dead in my track to pull me back to his chest. All I could do was look up at his angry face. That was rude I thought as I rested my head on his chest and sigh. Cole wrapped his arms around me as Mr. Blake growled "We shall see."

"I am not some innocent girl you can threaten so yes we will" I grunted as I hung up. I put my phone away as Coles floor came and he led us out to his office. Again everyone looked at us and some started to whisper about how I was a gold digger. I saw that one coming from a mile away I thought as Cole opened the door to gently push me inside. He shut the door after and yelled something but i ignored it as I sat my purse on the edge of his desk.

My coat was draped over it as Cole came inside to walk over to sit on his desk. I looked at him to see him rubbing his forehead making me say "Are you, ok daddy, you seem upset?" Cole let his forehead go and patted his lap for me to come over. I walked over to sit down on his lap and wrap my arms around his neck. Cole lift my legs so they were over his lap and held me close as he asked "Who was that princess?"

"It is nothing daddy I hate to bug you any more than I already have."

Cole tightened his grip on me and said "If anyone is threatening you it is my business, Stella."

"When my granddad passed he gave me the property he had in my hometown. It is a large piece of land that some developer wants so he can build houses on it but I refuse to give it to him."

Cole gave me a weird look and asked "Why didn't he give it to your father?" Ugh because it is a long story. A very long story but I can shorten it a bit I suppose. "They had a falling out when my dad remarried my bitch of a stepmom. Once she had my brother they sent me away to my grandparents since she hated me and didn't want her son to share a dad. My mom died when I was five and he remarried when I was ten so I couldn't live on my own which was why they left me to them. They had a bad falling out since he chose some woman over his daughter. When my grandparents passed everything went to me which caused another fight between them and me. They felt they should have it all even though they were never there for them when they were sick or me when I need it. Needless to say, I do not speak to them anymore...*whisper*...Everyone leaves me."
