Ok, here's the thing . I don't like All Might much, but he's supposed to be positive character. I want to give him a chance, so I'm making a list of reasons to hate him and to not hate him. Let's see how it ends. Also, I'll put a theory at the end since this is a mostly theory book.
To hate:
He's a hypocrite
Didn't even ask Izuku about what he can do, just imediately said no. He didn't even ask for a name of the boy who was so desperate to get support from someone.
Crushed dreams of a quirkless teen and left him on the rooftop. Ew, quirkism. Of course, Izuku couldn't be the no.1, that's normal, but he could be an underground hero
He acts a bit egoistical. Just a bit. Yes, he is really important and whatever, but other heroes exist
Haven't even checked if Izuku was okay after a villain attacked him
He's full of himself, and it can be extremely annoying
He barely tried to train Izuku, it was always either Gran Torino, Aizawa or Izuku did everything himself. The least he could do is send Izuku to Gran Torino from the start
He told his biggest weakness to a kid he met that day. He didn't even know Izuku's name, but he told him top secret. There must be better way to deal with this kind of things. Somebody could easily spy on the on the rooftop
He judge people by phisical looks and quirk status, why do you think he told Izuku his secret. A small, timid, quirkless teen couldn't do anything, right? He could start hating All Might and become a villain. Have you ever read V!Deku fanfic All Might. Probably not, he's too dumb for that
He never think things through, and that is not enough. You have a brain, use it
Constantly putting a 15, later 16 years old boy in danger
He's all like: Sure, young Midoriya, you can break all of your bones as long as you become no.1 and whatever
He has no teaching licence. I mean maybe, but probably not. You saw what he did with that Deku vs Bakugo fight. It was completely unprofessional.
He gived Izuku OFA without saying anything. Sure, he thought AFO was dead, but that isn't an acceptable excuse. He placed such a big burden on poor boy...
He let society completely depend on him, so when he retired, everything was in chaos. And now he wants Izuku to do the same. How smart, really. *note the sarcasm*
He stopped the contact with Sir Nighteye because of a silly argument. Ok not so silly argument but still. Why avoiding each other when you can talk things out. Sir Nighteye was right anyways, his secret was revealed to Deku exactly bacause he overworked himself. He could at least do less hero work and let society ajust to the change.
He thought that AFO is dead even if there wasn't a body. I mean probably, because... he's alive? Is AFO a zombie? Theory time!
Lol not yet
He is supposed to be Japanese, and represent Japan in the hero world, but he is acting like an American and it really looks like he prefers it over Japan. I have nothing against Americans, it's just weird. American wannabe
He acts like the world is over because he can't be no.1 anymore. Well, guess what? You did this to yourself, now live with it.
How does OFA even work on him. His 2 forms make not sense. If somebody knows an explanation for this, I would like to hear it
Manga All Might is just, no. I don't like him in manga at all. Manga readers know why. Or don't. Let's just say that je was too late to do, and say some things
It's kinda irritating how he smiles all the time. It seems fake and I hate fake people. I had them enough irl
Maybe I was a bit too harsh here...
To like:
He saved a lot of people
He's the no.1 hero, well, ex no.1 hero
He is Izuku's mentor
He gave Izuku quirk
He had some nice moments
Interesting character
Inspired a lot of people
He made AFO's face look like potato and now I can make fun of that
Story wouldn't be the same without him. I mean, just imagine mha without idiotic blonde American wannabe
Some nice fights
It's funny seeing Shiggy blaming everything on All Might
Conclusion: Idk, I don't like him. I knew that already... Meh, I guess he's ok. Important character that gets on my nerves

What if All Might isn't as nice as he shows, and 2 forms are actually a hint that he is 2 faced..... literally. Or maybe I just don't like him, who knows?
