*Cubs first birthday*

~Y/n's POV~

Today was the cubs first birthday, I can't believe they're actually 1 today, it seems only yesterday that they were newborns and now they were walking, playing and talking - some words were still a little off but they were talking. 

"Mum! Wake up." Sage begins to shake me, trying to get me to wake up Diego had left to go get us some breakfast and left me to deal with these two troublemakers.

"Mum, get up..." Ryker grunts as he and Sage tries to lift me up but failed.

"Mum, we know you're awake, pwease get up." I sigh before going to lying on my front awake this time.

"Next time, your father's being the one to wake up to you two." I say before they roll their eyes at what I said. 

"You wove it secwetly." Sage says, and I pretend to think.

"Mmm, do I?"

"Mum." she says before I drag her into in front of me between my paws.

"Secretly I do, but it's a secret." she giggle before I start to bathe her, she squirms beneath me and tries to escape.

"Sage, sit still you need your morning bath." I try to get her to hold still but she continues to squirm.

"Sage sit still for your mother." I hear Diego tell her sternly while walking in with breakfast.

"Dad! You're back and bwought foowd." Ryker runs up to Diego.

"Hey squirt, sure did." I smile at the two before continuing to bathe Sage, who has a grumpy face.

"There, all done." Sage was gone like lightning, and I sigh while Diego walks over placing the food down in front of us for all four of us to eat.

"I don't understand why you don't like bathing Sage." I tell her.

"Because it's just silly, I could be playing with Wyker."

"Well I'm sure Ryker would rather be playing with you too but he doesn't squirm or complain." I tell her as she looks down before continuing to eat.

"Sage you need to start listening to your mother and letting her bathe you." Diego tells her.

"Ok, dad, I'm sowwy." Sage tells us.

"It's fine Sage, don't worry your tail about it, besides isn't it someone's birthday?" I say smirking.

"Yeah!" both cubs yell clearly happy and excited, I smiled over at Diego.

"Well after breakfast we're going to meet up with Uncle Manny, Aunt Ellie, Uncle Sid, Crash and Eddie and Cousin Peaches." Diego informs the cubs who jumped with excitement.

"Yes! I can't wait!" Ryker exclaims.

"Ok Ry, finish breakfast first." I tell him.

"Ok mum!" they both say with excitement. We finished breakfast and started to head over to where everyone was waiting for the cubs, we decided to throw a surprise birthday party as it was their first birthday.

"I can't wait to play with Crash and Eddie!" Sage exclaims.

"Me either! I wanna play with Uncle Sid too!" Sid has been really great with the two, we never give him enough credit. As we got to the place where the party was taking place everybody jumped out from where they were hiding, including all the kids and other families.

"Surprise! Happy Birthday Sage and Ryker!" they all yell at the two, I look down and see Sage with the brightest face I've veer seen but Ryker held a more panicked look, I frowned at this.
