The Other Side (Kakashi HatakexOC Part2)

Chapter 13

I yawned as I sat up and looked around in confusion, I was wondering why I was in the bathroom, but then the events of last night came flooding back to me. I got up from the floor and pressed my ear to the door, as far as I could tell the hallway was silent. I stepped back and unlocked the door, I slowly opened it and went out. Kakashi wasn't on the floor anymore, but I could hear his voice from downstairs faintly. He must be talking to Obito, I'm assuming. 

I made my way down the hallway and down the stairs, his voice grew louder as I walked to the main room where he was seated on the couch. Obito was seated on the floor with, to my surprise, Mirai. They were playing with some of Obito's stuffed animals. Kurenai was sitting next to Kakashi, she was talking to him now,

"What did she say after that?"

I stopped right before entering the room, I leaned against the hallway wall as he says,

"She didn't say anything, that's the problem. She only got up and locked herself in the bathroom, and last I checked she was still in there." 

"Would you like me to try and talk to her?" 

He simply nods, Kurenai gets up and starts walking towards me. She saw me as soon as she started coming this way, I held a finger to my mouth and motioned to her. Of course she understood and closed the remaining space between us, I took her hand and pulled her into a closet a bit down the hall. As soon as the door was closed she asks,

"Are you alright?"

"Alright would be one way to put it," I reply while leaning against the door,

"But, yeah. I'm fine, still kind of shaken up a bit." 

Kurenai moves closer to me and hugs me as best she can in the small space, she pulls away while saying,

"You know he didn't mean any of that, right? He told me what happened, and even explained himself."

"I know, I know," I pause and sigh,

"His sudden change in tone surprised me is all, he's never acted that way towards me before." 

"Like I said, he didn't mean it. But I'm sure you'd like to hear him say that himself, wouldn't you?"

"I..guess so." 

She takes my hand without another word and opens the door to the closet, we exit it and she leads me back to the main room. Kakashi was still on the couch, Mirai and Obito were in the same spot at well. She pulled me over to the couch and states simply,

"Tell her." 

He turns his head, and gets up when he realizes I'm not in the bathroom anymore. There was a completely different expression on his face now than the last time I saw him, it was one of what seemed almost like guilt. He comes over and stands about two feet in front of me, he says,

"I'm sorry for the way I acted last night, Keira. I hadn't meant to yell at you, or scare you. I don't know what came over me and I hope you can forgive me for my actions." 

I knew I wasn't mad at him for it, I don't think I could ever be mad at him actually. It was more along the lines of just shock. I lowered my head and only held out my arms to him, I wasn't going to try and talk, I felt like I would just burst out crying if I did. He closes the space and wraps his arms around me in a gentle hug, I returned the embrace without a second thought.
