Mirae glanced at her watch, reading it as the arrow strikes 12, telling her that the time is 12 am. She sighed through her nose, looking up as she adjusted her hair, sitting on a chair with the city view in front of her. The apartment was surprisingly taller than she expected, reminding her of Hera Palace. Hyunsik arrived with two cup of coffees, putting one of them in front of the girl at the table

She looked up, smiling slightly as she took the cup, blowing on it for a while before taking a sip

"Got something in your mind?"

He asked as she chuckled, shaking her head

"Nothing. Just thinking about Suryeon"

He looked at her

"I missed her and Seol-a. I lost them both at the same building. The building that I once lived in... Lately, I just kept on getting some kind of feelings that something might happen soon and it's not a good thing"

She chuckled, keeping her gaze at the lights coming from the buildings, the roads that full of cars and transportation, creating an aesthetically pleasing scene

"Hyunsik"

He looked at her, raising one of his brows as he sipped on his coffee. Mirae turned her gaze towards him

"It's been two years and a half since we met... And I still know nothing about you"

He chuckled, nodding

"Fine. What do you want to know about me?"

Mirae formed a grin

"Things that you didn't share on the internet"

"Like what? Girlfriend?"

Mirae choked on the drink, coughing a bit as Hyunsik handed her a napkin without looking at her

"You're curious about that, aren't you?"

"No"

She instantly replied and glared at him as he laughed

"Whether you're curious about it or not, I'll just tell you... No, I've never had a partner in my life before"

He answered, smiling softly as Mirae looked at him

"Me too. I've never been in a relationship before. The only guy friend I have in the US is Logan. My grandparents is so protective over me that I couldn't even find a partner to be with"

They both chuckled, drinking their coffees in sync as the male spoke

"You don't have any siblings, right?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Do you know how it feels like to have one?"

Mirae excitedly nodded, making him chuckled. She had always felt lonely when she's the only child in the big house, only accompanied by the maids and sometimes her parents who were busy trying to make a living. She had always wanted a sibling to talk to and play with
